My idea is quite simple, through an expensive process, being able to create a mechanical companion to assist in working as well as protection.
It would be a mob created using a large amount of iron and redstone making it expensive, but it would be able to use tools and wear armor like a normal player. It would have the standard health of a player and armor would be the same eeffectiveness, but being made of iron would make it unable to be ignited, but still vulnerable to all forms of damage.
To create this mob one would have to create the head, body, arms, and legs and then assemble them in the crafting table.
The final section of bringing it to life would be by creating a demon spawner,(ideas?)
And after defeating the demon you'd have some sort of device to capture the "soul" and then you'd palce the automaton (similar to snow golem) and then right click with this soul device.
After creation it would wander aimlessly until you make some sort of control device.
once you have a control device you can begin to equip things to the automaton, but you'll notice the inventory for it is locked, it can't hold items like a player inventory, you'd remedy this by taking a chest and right clicking on the automaton giving it the ability to pick up blocks.
The control device would allow you to tell the automaton where to go and it will work in a radius of 20 blocks of thatarea selected doing only work capable with the tool it has. (axe will chop trees, pick will dig blocks, shovel will dig, etc.)
This mob will not work in the nether, as the demon would take control, turning this mob from friendly to aggressive.
maybe making that u can capture soul of any mob in game and make it that automaton will have timer,like destroy himself after x days where x is how strong soul you used.After end of timer he would destroy himself and falled from him all his parts.Thats my idea how can it be.
Or maybe he'd jsut power down, and just freeze? You'd be able to tell from it doing nothing and the right light on its face being dim.
