i like the new map generator...

Actually, I think that the swamp transitions look fine now, but the terrain generation does suck.

There is a mod which brings back the old terrain generation you know. (which I am using btw, because I hate the new terrain gen)

Even if they did bring back 1.7.3 generation (which I don't agree is better) you would still have to create a new world for it to take effect, so I say, why bother?

I do miss when biomes had mountains and such.

Add trees to the Extreme Hills biome and change the grass colour to bright green, that would be sweet.

Texture pack ad plant some trees with bonemeal if you want that?
