Hey everyone, my name is Chururu and I'm 13. THIS is my NPC idea.
As you may notice, I'm new. I have a lot to learn about this forum and this is also my first post. Meaning that I might have done something wrong. If I have (I hope not), please tell me.
My grammar/spelling is not perfect. Just saying.
Before I say the idea, I need to say that this is probably not gonna be used. Because they're probably already coding how the NPCs are going to be like.
Now, enough presentation.
My idea is pretty simple. Adding personality to the NPCs and some kind of Stealth gameplay to Minecraft.
Let's see...
Three different villages. Or more like three different NPCs. OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT I DON'T KNOW.
One of the villages has "angry" NPCs.
No. I'm not saying they'll attack you just because you visited their vilage.
What I meant when I said angry is that, if THEY SEE you kill at least three of them, the whole village will be mad at you. Making your life impossible every time you get inside the village.
Another one has scared NPCs.
If THEY SEE you kill one of them, they won't attack you. They'll just hide inside their houses. And everytime you visit their village they are going to hide again and again...
If you get them out of their houses they'll just try to run.
And the last one has (neutral?) NPCs.
It means that you can kill as many as you want (with them knowing it or not) and they won't care.
Now, what I don't know is, how the NETHER are you supposed to know when they're angry NPCs, scared NPCs or neutral ones.
Maybe they'll have different behavior.
Like, the angry ones are going to be looking at what you are doing all the time.
The scared ones are going to do the same thing but they look while keeping a distance from you.
And the neutral ones are just going to CHILLAX BROSEPH.
Of course, for this to work properly, there should be a reason to kill them aside from "idk b0red LOL".
Like, they give you something important when you kill them. But, that's not my business.
Also, making them respawn everytime you kill one is something that should be implemented (If it isn't implemented already).
ANOTHER THING (I SWEAR, the last thing) is that, for example: You kill three angry NPCs and another angry NPC saw you. Now, in a normal stealth game, if someone sees you kill another person you have to kill the one who saw you too so he can't say anything.
I don't want it to be like that. It would make it too easy.
If an angry NPC saw you kill three angry NPCs, even if you kill him, the whole village is going to know that killed them. Therefore, like I said before, making your life impossible.

What happens if you burn one of there houses down?
Everytime you grief their houses. (Breaking some blocks/ Placing some = Not griefing. Breaking the whole house/blowing it up/burning it = Griefing. Yes, I know it sounds really hard to code)
They're going to react like this
Angry ones: Attack you.
Scared ones: Run away/Hide.
Neutral: Sup.
It would be much easier to code if you just said:
-TNT explode in village %reaction%
-Flint & Steel activated on house %reaction%
-Lava Bucket used on house %reaction%
It wouldn't be completely anti-grief, but it would be very easy to code. I like your idea, btw, and your grammar is pretty decent.
