A while ago, I killed zombies, and they droped rotten flesh (do it until now). So I thought, you can eat their flesh as an emergency food and feed your wolf with this, but so what? What is it other utility?
The zombie has to be as useless as well? Take the example of other mobs. The skeleton for example, it drops bones and arrows, which are both useful things, because the bones are used to tame the wolves and can be transformed into bone meal, and the arrows to shoot the others. The creeper, he drops the gunpowder, which is used to make TNT.
But the zombie? He drops rotten flesh, so what? This rotten flesh could have another use. How about making some kind of potion? A potion that makes the target bewildered, causing him to walk to the opposite side of which he would go. When you attack a cow, it runs away from you, with this potion, it would go for you, even against their will. Imagine the mobs, they go for attacking you, with the potion, they would run away from you.
Lets see, Potion of Confusion? Something like that?
That's it guys, hope you enjoyed this suggestion. Any ideas for it, post in the comments. :wink.gif:
No, I don't think zombies should drop zombie leather (or something like that). Because, for leather armour, we can use the cow.
I was just saying. Most people seem to skip to iron armour because iron, despite being non-renewable, is far more accessible than leather. If zombies dropped leather (either salvaged from their clothes, or...from their hides...) we might see some more leather armour out there.

... Weird, but interesting. In addition to that, chickens also give feathers for arrows, but skeletons still drop them... This would make zombies actually useful for something. Perhaps the potion for flesh could be added as well, sort of like with spider eyes.
