I think there should be at least two different map types for Creative Mode. We already have the first, the Randomly Generated Maps, that can be Small, Normal, or Huge. But I think we should also have Flatgrass maps that are Small, Normal, or Huge. This could allow for easier construction of large projects in Creative Mode. (Omen maps that I upload don't work for me.)
Thoughts?
There's also a number of suggestions, including a few made by me, to just include OMEN-like generation options when you choose to generate a new map.
For Example:
- Dropdown boxes for map sizes, from 64-1024 on XYZ
- Dropdown box for preset styles, like winter, flatgrass, ocean, hell, etc.
- Sliders for many of the finer options:
--- Height Scale
--- % of Cliffs
--- % of Surface Water
--- % of Caves
--- Likelyhood of Large Caverns
--- % of Trees
I'm all for flatmaps in singleplayer creative. I don't play multiplayer as I don't really know many people well enough to feel comfortable playing on their servers. The point I mean by this is, Omen works with multiplayer servers, and I as far as I know, singleplayer is not compatable.

It's how I was able to generate the base terrain for Shadowmarch.

Mainly because I'm trying to build a digital interpretation of Saint-Michael's Mount :biggrin.gif:
But yes, Flat Grass and other types of basic maps of that sort seem like they should be in. Still, not complaining. The current maps are fine for now.
