you can already add minecraft to steam. Just go to steam, click on the library tab, and click on add game in the bottom left (this works for mac, not sure if its the same for PC)

I am sorry, but having multiple unrelated suggestions in a single thread is against the forum rules. Wishlists are difficult to edit and criticize, disrespectful of other members, redundant, and do not do each suggestion justice.

The NPC skins could look better honestly, but some things should stay as they are and I think they fit the style of villagers better than say pigmen would (not zombified obviously).
NPC AI is on the way and will probably be at least partially implemented by the time 1.2 arrives.
What animations are you talking about? Flying, Climbing, Swimming? For some reason, all of those don't seem right for Minecraft in my opinion.
Rewriting Minecraft in C++ or some other language would take a very long amount of time and in the end, just wouldn't be worth it. My solution for you would be to buy a better computer. And hey at least it's not flash. :wink.gif:
Why would you care if Minecraft was on Steam if you already own it? You can add it to your Steam library also by clicking "Add Game" if you like all the games on your computer in one place. Minecraft's purchase system is fine anyway, so there's no need to change it.

Oh god, could you picture Minecraft in C? I'll bomb Mojang HQ before that happens.
