1.2.0 is confirmed. It includes climbable vines and a totally freaking awesome jungle biome. As for name-changing, I doubt that will be added for a long time, due to complications with whitelists and such.
Wow if that's true about 1.2.0 than many minecraft users must be waiting anxiously for this update to be released and your right name changing will probably cost due to whitelists and band and things
If you want a new name, buy minecraft again. If you don't want to do that, then you should have picked a better name in the first place.
