I admit I'm a bit biased in making this suggestion. For you see, I've been having a lot of fun playing superflat survival challenge maps, scrounging for supplies from villages to survive.
However what's annoying is that although it's possible to build a brewing stand legit, you can't get bottles in superflat since there isn't any sand. So potions are impossible.
So I suggest adding the odd bottle or two specifically for the benefit of people playing superflat survival mode.
Although this suggestion would add a very narrow benefit to the game, adding it would be simple as pie. And in regular minecraft bottles are easy enough to get that it wouldn't unbalance the game if villages sometimes came with a bottle or two.
Hmm, a suggestion that isn't rubbish for once. I know superflat was intended for creative mode, but seeing as though people use it for survival, I see no harm in adding this. It just makes the game have more possibilities.
You aren't supposed to use superflat for survival mode. Some people do it for the challenge, but Jeb isn't going to add Survival Mode things to it since it's not what it's meant to be.

Well, if nothing else, it seems reasonable that you would see bottles in villages, so even if not for superflat, it's not illogical, nor game breaking. I think it would be a nice touch.Well, if nothing else, it seems reasonable that you would see bottles in villages, so even if not for superflat, it's not illogical, nor game breaking. I am guessing you get to the nether with the lava in the blacksmith houses, and the water in the well?
Anyways, this would be a rather simple addition. You have my support.
Yeah, you use the lava in blacksmith forges to make obsidian. And smithy chests also sometimes contain obsidian blocks too, to save you the trouble of mining obsidian or freezing lava in place.
The flint & steel you make using an ingot from a smithy chest plus flint from the gravel roads.

I support this :smile.gif:
Jeb stated that he might add a spawn chest for those who wish to play survival on superflat

In other words, it will likely be standard gameplay.
Off topic: Your sig. It's extremely clever.
It's just a matter of making it a low chance for the more rare items.
I beg to differ
What about furna- oh wait....
Support.
