(Quote)I've been trying to get Minecraft footage for let's plays (one of the millions on YouTube)(
But I've been having many problems with the framerate I've used (in order) Fraps, Camtasia Studio 7 and Camstudio; they all don't really work with my computer, but Minecraft by itself has been fine and I don't want to cash out for a new computer.
There have been mods made specifically for this, namely VideoCraft and MineVideo, that seem to have some great potential, but have not been updated (in the time of this post) for the current release of Minecraft 1.0(un-Quote)

Are you running with optifine, It will improve the framerate by loads!
I am using Optifine (of course)
But something deticated to Minecraft itself would be much easier because most recordig programs don't work with Minecraft all too well (except for Bandicam, but it still lags even though)
