So, Here's My Idea:
in "Options"
there will be a menu called "mods"
it will have a menu for downloading mods ingame and installing them, also
enabling or disabling them ingame! how is my idea?
oh and so if mods add items and you remove a mod, it will show up as "unknown block" and not crash
or disappear, same for items.
i'm sure the modding api will do something similar
Yeah, we COULD PROBABLY expect it somewhere in January, that IS what Jeb said, or if not, then in mid February because the new update just came out. :wink.gif:
so can someone send this to jeb/notch cause i cant, twitter, mail, he NEVER replies! please i really will like this to be implemented! the download/install part the most PLEASE!

if you go to minecraft.net then community, there is a site where the url is something like getsatisfaction.com/mojang, then If you go to the ideas, the modding api is marked planned. :wink.gif:
Here is just a theroy... You Play World Of Warcraft, and you most likely got this idea from the Addon Menu? niceCurse supports minecraft server mods, but it would be nice if it supported single player mods too

The easiest way to do this I think would be if you could have an option to switch between Jar files as thats where most mods files are, anything outside the jar file doesnt seem to change much. If the Jars didnt have to specifically named minecraft.jar or we could put the jar in a named folder we could toggle between, it would make things loads easier.
