We've had cocoa beans in dungeons for a long time now. We, the community, would like to ask for a simple change to happen in Minecraft. Brown wool is rare to be used, yes, but cocoa beans are simply too rare and tedious to find. Therefore, the suggestion:
Basically, when a regular, non-pine/birch tree leaf block that is in a desert biome is destroyed, it has a 1/100 chance of dropping cocoa beans!
To outline:
The leaf block must be hovering over a desert biome.
The leaf block must not be a pine or birch leaf block.
It will, upon breaking, have a one in a hundred chance to drop x amount of cocoa beans.
Yes, Mojang, we know you'll be adding something secret that will have cocoa blocks or the like generate naturally, but until that happens, we'd just like you to implement this small feature into Minecraft. It can take a long time for an update to happen, and until then, we would like a sense of slight realism in how we get cocoa beans.
That is all, have a nice day, share opinions/ideas!
Make the cocoa trees 3-7 blocks high(plus one for leaves) without branches. They should grow in the jungle or rainforest biomes. The trunk should have orange splotches on it (Cocoa been pods). When the trunk blocks are broken they drop 3-6 cocoa beans. The beans then can be used as saplings to grow more trees.
"Theobroma cacao also cacao tree and cocoa tree, is a small (4–8 m or 15–26 ft tall"
"The flowers are produced in clusters directly on the trunk and older branches; they are small, 1–2 cm (1/2–1 in) diameter, with pink calyx. While many of the world's flowers are pollinated by bees (Hymenoptera) or butterflies/moths (Lepidoptera), cacao flowers are pollinated by tiny flies, Forcipomyia midges in the order Diptera.[1] The fruit, called a cacao pod, is ovoid, 15–30 cm (6–12 in) long and 8–10 cm (3–4 in) wide, ripening yellow to orange, and weighs about 500 g (1 lb) when ripe. The pod contains 20 to 60 seeds, usually called "beans", embedded in a white pulp."

I was actually going to say to make them spawn in the Jungle Biome.
