In minecraft, you can put 1 leather in the crafting table to make 4 leather strips. To make a backback, put leather in the upper right, upper left, lower right, and lower left spots.leather strips would go in the middle- left and middle-right spots.wool would go in the up and down spots; leaving the middle spot blank.it would craft a backpack.
depending on the color wool, changes the colors of the backpack.if black wool was on the bottom and red will was on the top, it would make a backpack that had a red top and black bottom. It would be a rectangular prism on your back from a view.It wouldnt have collision except with entities.though, it would not change user size block-wise (1x1x2) it would also go in either a chestplate armor slot or a seperate slot.if it replaced the armor slot, it would be enchantable for weapon resistence.the recipe would be like this:
#@# @ = wool
$ $ # = leather
#@# $ = leather strips
another idea like this are smaller versions like phanny packs or pocketbooks. the whole top layer would be blank unless created higher, like fences.the bottom layer would be leather.the middle-left and middle-right would be leather strips and the middle would be wool.again, the wool would change the color of the phan-... pocketbo-.... whatever!! the size of it would be about and an 8th of a block and again wouldn't collide with blocks-only entities like players.i dont know where on the player it would be though.its recipe would be like this:
# = leather [email protected]$ @ = wool
### $ = leather strips
the back pack would hold about 12 slots and depending on the size of an object, the stack sizes would be different.for example: 16 dirt.
the bag...thing would hold about 9 slots and, again depending on the size on an object would change the stack size it can hold.
I dont think this should be added - as it is we can already hold like 36 items total in our inventory, so I think its safe to assume this wouldn't be added.
Also, try making it a little more neat and organized x( I was about to stop reading before I even knew what the backpack does.
I only support if it takes the spot of upper armor when equipped, that way you lose defense for a storage upgrade and you don't need an extra slot in equip inventory.

This.
Unfortunately, though, you may get trapped in a vicious cycle of chests within chests within chests, etc.
I think wearing a backpack should unlock the 32 slots. Otherwise, you can only have the hotbar slots.
Although people would immediately quit MC forever, as that's too under powered.
lol.
As for this idea, it would be neat, but we don't really need an inventory extension. I agree with Sdians idea though.
No, I meant lifting the chest. It wouldn't be stored as an item. You just move it like an enderman.
