Right now, to play Minecraft with your friends, you need a server. What if:
When you click on Multiplayer, you can select Wireless or Server. Server brings you to the current screen. Though, Wireless...
When you create a Minecraft world, you can either turn Wireless Access On or Off. This can be changed at any time. When you have Wireless Access On, you basically have your world "up for grabs". Anyone within Wireless range will have the availability to play in your world, saving that world's Save folder to a new folder, Wireless Saves. Now,
Changes to blocks, health, locations, or anything else that is CONSTANTLY updated in the Save folder is updated in BOTH, sent via Wireless. This way, two players (or more) can play in the same world without any form of hosting. They can also interact, same as on servers. There would be little difference, aside from no chat.
I think this would be excenlent for local play instead of people from all over the world playing, which can realy lag your computer. Also, I cant port forward at the moment, so this would be a nice alternitive.
This is basically the same thing as "easy server hosting", except you use an ad-hoc network. There's no reason to add a specific service for this, just make the hosting easy.
