Well I found a zombie dungeon then thought "What if there were more dungeons?" so I have a few ideas that could be added into the game.
1. big dungeons. These dungeons are 3 times bigger than normal dungeons and have a 10% spawn rate. They contain 5 chests and 2 monster spawners. There is a 1% chance of one of the spawners being a spider jockey spawner.
2. The trick dungeon. These dungeons have 2-30 buttons! But only one of them reveils the chest. If you hit the wrong button then prepare to go boom boom!
3.maze dungeon. These dungeons are both huge and trickey. They can be up to 20 times as big as the normal dungeon. But if you complete the maze you will at least get 1 diamond block and 10 golden apples (since they aren't as good anymore).
4.Jumping puzzle dungeon. There are three types of this dungeon and each one contains a jumping puzzle.
A. lava jumping. this type of jumping dungeon has a chest in the middle and stone blocks to jump on and lavs covering the rest!
B.Creeper jumping. In this jumping dungeon there is a chest in the middle stone pillers rising up from 10 blocks under and 10 blocks below 10 creeper spawners and tons of creepers so um...Don't fall.
C. fall jumping. In this jumping dungeon there is a chest in the middle and stone pillers rising from bedrock and you guessed it if you fall you fall to bedrock.
If you place a block in the jumping puzzle it will disappear so you can't cheat.
I agree, but I dislike the idea of duengon protection, you could have one under your house and you want to expand your house, what do you do...you build in it of course! Also the trick duengon the TNT should be above flowing water so it kills the player without damaging the loot.

I do only like 1 because the rest seem over complex and OP. Also many of these would be extremely hard to code, and while these are being worked on other much better suggestions could be made too.

Started up my Youtube again, better than ever! ^ Check it out
Oh...you thought something completely different, I meant there's water UNDER the TNT causing it only to harm the player, without damaging anything. Not you drown.

2. No. Bloody. Way. That's OP in so many ways....
3. Get the TNT from number 2.
4. I hate jumping challanges, and was glad there were only 2 I needed to beat to complete Half-Life 2.
No support for the reasons stated above.
True but no one can resist a good explosion.
If my sencerio was real, a huge explosion under my house would have me swearing like a sailor for a hour straight.
how about 50 50% chance of either tnt or drowning
