*NOTE:Glass bottles are placeholders for the X-Ray goggles
*NOTE2:When it breaks, there is a chance you get a glass block back
This would create a simple pair of mob-eye x-ray goggles. It could see through one block by right clicking, and have fifty uses. It can be crafted onto a sword like this:
The sword would maintain its uses, but when it right clicked, instead of blocking would enter x-ray mode. It would have two durability bars for this task, and when the sword itself breaks, you get nothing back. If the x-ray goggles broke, then the sword would continue with its normal durability bar. It would also halve the durability the sword lasts.
The x-ray helmet. When right clicked with a tool that has no use right clicking, or an empty hand, it would employ the goggles. This also halves the durability of the helmet.
X-ray pumpkin. Same as x-ray helmet, but with fifty durability.
If you repair an x-ray goggle set like this, it gains twenty-five extra uses plus being fully restored.

Ummm...This is quite useless...I mean, you aren't going to find anything with this, and you can't exactly spy on something through 1 block. Plus, this add WAY too many items to the game when you really only need the first...

this is just stupid. x-ray in vanillia minecraft COMEON. BTW *bump* is illegal
I tried to balance it, plus I made it so it only sees through one block and you must enchant it to get more. I want aware bump was illegal, I will try to stop it. Also it has a short durability.

I'm sorry, i meant when you used it you could see through any block in your view, but just one unless enchanted. Plus it only adds four extra items, nine-ten at most(cause of armor helmet types)

As they say: If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
In Minecraft suggestions, it is:
If it ain't worth it, don't balance it.
-------------------
What I'm trying to say is, this is useless and really has no purpose in the game whatsoever. It also makes no sense in the first place: What are goggles, how do you make goggle swords, and why does this need enchantments? It doesn't matter if it's balanced.
This doesn't belong in Minecraft. Sorry.

I actually would use this mod. Not becuase its my suggestion, but because I think it could be useful. For example, you have been chased to your base by a mob of creeper. After a quick nap, you can't tell where they are. Look, they're on your left side! Also, it might be easier to find dungeons with this, or maybe in certain adventure maps.

Yes, it would be useful to have a something X-Ray, but, with Minecraft's limited complexity and technology, the X-Ray Goggles aren't exactly the best way to implement them into the game. Plus, it shouldn't be called X-ray _______.

The "Goggles" part still doesn't fit. Spider Eye Lens? I mean, the recipe could be changed to use only glass and a spider eye. Since spiders can see through blocks, it makes more sense. If you want it even more Minecraft-like:
When you get Spider Eye poison, not only are you poisoned, but you can see mobs behind walls for the duration of the poison. The mobs would appear to be light-grey silhouettes that get harder to see the further away they are. You can see them through blocks. Uses:
- When you are mining and you hear lots of monsters, eat a Spider Eye. The poison will allow you see what the mobs are, and if it's a dungeon (Many mobs of the same species in a tight space).
- Locating monsters outside your house.
- Slime Hunting.
I hope this helps. :wink.gif:
