1.1 was a great update, but it didn't really add much. Look at the 1.8 update -- it completely changed the game. In my opinion, every update should be at least almost as game changing.
I suggest that with every update, a new MOB or block should be added. There are plenty of enemies and blocks that we could use -- sulphur and fossil ores that give gunpowder and bones respectably, snakes and ghosts and perhaps some demonic creatures in the Nether, pigmen, etc. Also, something that was promised/half added a long time ago (sponges, quivers, pig riding, etc) should maybe be added. At least one of what I mentioned.
Don't get me wrong, I love updates, but this update was so small and almost insignificant, and that only irks me because I have to wait for all my mods and things to update just so that I can craft golden apples easier, have bow enchantments, and have sheep regrow wool. :sad.gif: Those are great things, but Jeb, this isn't alot of content you're forcing people to work on just for.
I agree now i have to wait for mods to update but patience is key one day we will get what we ask for it just takes time....im waiting to see if the NPC's even do anything or if i should just stick to Tales of kingdom or millenaire...lol

up until the 1.8 -> 1.9 -> 1.0 fiasco this update was about the norm, and should stay that way.
Huge game altering updates are hard for server admins to handle all at once. Smaller updates allow us to adjust easier to the new features.
Also, more content = longer updates = same amount of content overall, you just get it slower and in larger chunks. So your logic is sort of flawed anyway. You're basically asking him to keep new content from us longer for no reason.

This sums up everything that I was thinking. I would much rather a slow trickle or updates than having to wait 3 months and then being slapped in the face by a massive bucket of new features.

You'll be a happier person if you're miserable all the time.
And you have to remember that not every update can be like 1.8... that would be ridiculous. It took months to get here, half of that was planning.
The point is, don't expect another huge 1.8 update again. That probably won't happen. And if it does, we'd have to wait another half a year for that to get here. I would rather have many small updates then one big update, that would give them more time to fix bugs and test new things before perfecting them.

I support small, one lined answers unless long ass answers are necessary.
It's like watching somebody key your vehicle and doing nothing about it, then blaming it on the vehicle.

Yes, that is what I want. I want more content in slower time, instead of less content in faster time. It would really take stress away from modders, etc, and also take stress away from me.

ok, I know I'm taking the stupid "Well don't update!" argument the fanboys here give.. but if you have no problem with getting the same amount of overall content, just with less updates, why don't you *not* update until you feel like it's been long enough that there's enough new content to warrant said update? Assuming you take up this practice, your mods/plugins will all be fine until you go and do an update.
Also, your argument is very illogical. You're sick of waiting for the mods to update to use the new content in the small updates, yet at the same time you also want them to update the game slower with a larger content pool so you have to wait for mod updates less often. It's odd you're very willing to be patient with one (Less updates) and not the other (Mod updates post-patch)..
Your entire thought process is massively confusing.

They fixed, it. If they were to fix it again, you couldn't access it through the sides, again.
And they have 2 other games to focus now. >_<
