otherwise whats the point? all hostile mobs made by eggs dewspawn, making the whole concept of mob eggs useless if you want anything other than squidward.
I think a solution is simple, but I'm no programmer. But I was thinking there could be something along the lines of two sets of code for two sets of mobs, that function almost exactly the same, except all egg mobs are persistent. That way we could plant hostile mobs in our adventure maps... That is, after all, the whole point of mob eggs, no?
