We all know some magic elements have been added to the game, such as alchemy and enchanting. But why not have more? What's the point of having these magic elements and not have spells? My idea is to add an optional magic bar to appear on the HUD which would allow you to cast spells, using magic when you cast and regenerate over time (like in many RPG's such as The Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, etc.) The spells would be in your inventory and you would be able to select them as you do blocks and tools, also sacrificing inventory space. Examples of spells would be fire, lightning, healing, etc. The spells would be cast by right-clicking while left-clicking would be the same as using your fist. Remember this would be OPTIONAL, so if you don't like magic you don't have to use. Though players who do use this willbe forced to sacrifice some of their space. Another feature would be that mages are the only players allowed to use alchemy and enchanting, so that warrior players will have to rely on their Mage friend for potions and enchantments.

Are you f**king kidding me...
Spells would be a horrible thing to have in Minecraft, it's an explorative, sandbox survival game, not an RPG. Even alchemy and enchanting in Minecraft is unique.
