id like to see 2 changes made to enchanting, hopefully before the next update gets rolled out.
1. the enchantment table should always display a MAX enchant for you're level.
if you are level 36 there should be 2 random leveled enchants and the bottom one should always be whatever level you currently are, in this case 36. ive spent hours placing an item on the table trying to get it to show me a lvl 50 enchant and the highest that popped up was 48.
2. the enchantments should never waste levels on lower enchants.
there is no reason for me to spend 10 levels on a pickax and get efficiency I and unbreaking I. and then later i spend another 20 levels on another pickax and only get efficiency I.

Disagree. It would be nice if higher levels were more likely to show up the more levels you had, but sometimes I don't like wasting all my XP on one item.

id like to see the villagers do something or at least drop experience, and also id like to see a use of the quiver that's in the sprite sheet but isn't an item yet, there is a mod called "better enchantment" that's how i would like to see the enchanting look like
I still think Enchanting should be a bit more Alchemy-style in a way enchanting involves ingredients which themselves determine which enchantment you get.
I extremely dislike the random element coming with these.
So in short, I agree with you but would prefer another way of achieving it.

I was thinking maybe 5 buttons for 5-tens of range for the random interval to choose from just to make it easier.
