I just had a few ideas for the game that I thought would be cool and extremely useful.
1: Timestone:
Basically this idea was one I had while working with redstone. It would be slightly golden (like sand in an hourglass) and could be used to more easily create timed reactions in redstone contraptions. Example, you might be able to use Timestone and possibly a clock or something to set a certain timing on a section of redstone. Now I know there are Redstone repeaters but those can get REALLY complicated in my opinion. But if you could just type up a time limit and let the Timestone do it's work, that would be awesome.
2: New Types of Level Generation:
There were a few really cool landscaping ideas I had while playing on Survival and exploring. I was thinking things like rapids in rivers, fields of flowers, canyons in deserts, and even some new kind of errr... land structures... Like maybe Volcanoes or Geysers or something!
3: Extreme Weather:
This might kind of tie in with the New Level Generation, y'know, I thought extreme weather would be EPIC!!! Like Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Tsunami's, Blizzards, Floods, that kind of stuff. Not really much else to say though...
Really that's all I had, sorry if this belonged in the Small Suggestions section but I felt these would be HUGE changes and plus there were multiple ones sooo, my mind kind of just thinks that way so err... yeah :biggrin.gif:

The types of Level Generation is something I'd definitely go for. What I truly want is bigger worlds. I want to see a TRUE mountain and giant caves and such.
The timestone is a little...much but it would make redstone much easier.
And the extreme weather...people hate rain. Why bring in other stuff that people will complain about?

1. You mean a pulser redstone component?
2.Sure
3.Too much coding, too much f'ed up property, too complicated.
Dust Storm: works like snow except sand and you can barely see where you're going.

Redstone repeaters much? They look better, and you can walk on them. They are crafted with two redstone torches placed on either horizontal end of the crafting grid, placing three stone below them, and placing redstone dust in the middle of the torches like so:
Where a torch is a redstone torch, the flower is redstone dust, and the stone is stone.
2: New Types of Level Generation:

I was thinking things like rapids in rivers, fields of flowers, canyons in deserts, and even some new kind of errr... land structures... Like maybe Volcanoes or Geysers or something! Rapids would be hard considering how water works. Flowers in fields are fine. You could just see if ravines spawn in deserts, and volcanoes would be really overpowered (eventually, someone's going to go "MAKE IT GO BOOM!"). Geysers may be hard to design.
Considering what they do compared on other mods/suggestions, they would be way too destructive to the landscape. Suggesting them, no matter how rare, is like suggesting primed TNT falls out of the sky. Same destructive power. If they aren't destructive like that, then they can't really be called "extreme weather" now can they? They'd be windy days or really rainy days.

Wishlist; one suggestion/only suggestions that relate to each other per topic.
So it sounds like the Better Land Generation is a pretty good idea, and NeoSpector, I talked about redstone repeaters in my post, but I just though that those can get EXTREMELY complicated, so it would probably be easier to just use Timestone instead... and I now agree, the Extreme Weather would suck, I looked at the idea and definetely the things such as tornadoes or hurricanes might be WAY TOO much... But I still kinda thought there could be some kind of extreme weather... Y'know maybe a medium sized vortex in the ocean? Or an Earthquake, but in the case of an Earthquake it wouldn't do as much damage to the land and built structures as it would things like trees or so. There might be some small damage to a house or something like a few broken blocks but that could easily be prevented by building houses out of stronger materials. So I wanna see if you guys are atleast simialarly on the same page. :biggrin.gif:

Well, considering each of these suggestions have been mentioned a thousand times independently and like spector said, it's a wishlist, there's no point of discussing it on here.
As stated, this is both a wishlist, and redundant, considering that these ideas have been suggested before, but separately.
Also, try to stick to one suggestion per topic. It makes things more organized, and easier to keep track of.
