Introduction
What your probably think is something like a map, for instance. But sorry to say you are completely wrong. What I am talking about here is being able to change the navigation and walking patterns of mobs. I.E: Villagers, cows, creepers, etc. For the villagers you can assign them choices for sayings to help out if someone is playing a world that was built by someone else but has no idea how to play it. For those that use SDK hammer, you could probably know what I am going at here.
Where would this fit into Minecraft
OK, this would fit into Adventure mode. (Custom adventure maps) Say you want to make an adventure map where you have to go find a treasure but need to know where to go first. Well what you would do is assign a villager some speech text. Giving you the ability to look around user created towns and villages for hint's on where to go. This also fits in with pro builders, say you have built a large castle, with a town on the outside but you don't want the villagers wondering about. That's where this comes in, when the next version of minecraft having eggs to place creatures. You can change the patterns of the creatures and make them walk on invisible path's that you created.
How it works
While in creative mode, you have a wand next to the eggs. Titled "Navigation Editor" this allows you to right click on creatures and change their walking patterns. This is where it may get kinda confusing, when you right click on that entity. I.E A villager, the world becomes covered with a red color showing that these are areas that can't be walked on by that entity. Well when you right click on the ground that is where the entity will be able to walk. After you have your path you can make delays so that when the entity makes it to that block it will stop moving for a as long as you set it and will continue moving again after the delay is over.
With the chat thing you can right click on the entity again to make a conversation between the player and it. There are 2 boxes, one is a title box the other is an answer box. So it would look something like this.
1. So where can I find a chicken?
A. Down near Betty's house
For starters, mobs don't really have walking patterns to begin with...
I only added the mobs because I have seen adventure maps that involve you breaking into castles, and zombie pigmen played as the guards but are always walking off somewhere :tongue.gif:

Help support this overhaul!

[quote=Badgerz]You have to keep in mind that people are stupid.
[quote=Catelite]Just because you don't understand how something works, doesn't make it broken or pointless. >_<
