So, it's a pretty simple idea. Totems are basically blocks of wood, with the face of a mob carved into them. How do you make them? Easy:
You basically place a piece of wood into the crafting table, followed by a drop of the mob whose face you are trying to get.
Pig: Raw Pork
Cow: Leather, Raw Beef
Chicken: Raw Chicken
Sheep: Wool
Zombie: Rotten Flesh
Spider: String, Spider Eye
Skeleton: Bone, Arrow
Creeper: Gunpowder
Enderman: Ender Pearl
Slime: Slime Ball
Zombie Pigman: Cooked Pork
Ghast: Ghast Tear
Blaze: Blaze Rod
Magma Cube: Magma Cream
Snow Golem: Snowball
Silver Fish: Cracked Stone Brick, Mossy Stone Brick
So what would they do? Well two things:
1. They can be placed.
2. They can be worn, when worn, the player will sound the same as the mob when they take damage. For example, if you are wearing the Pig Totem, and take damage, you would make the same sound that a pig makes when it takes damage.
If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
Looking like the mob would get into tricky territory.
Would you still be able to use items? Probably not. If you weren't able to use items(like swords) then most people wouldn't use it very often.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use items.
The only thing it would do would be changing how the player sounds, I suppose it could change how the head of the player looks as well, but I don't really care if that part happens or not.

I think it should just cover their their entire head like they are wearing a tribal mask. Turning into the mob would be cool but would be going too far and having a silverfish as my head would look stupid. :tongue.gif:

I never said anything about turning into the mob.
