I really think combat should be made better,or new added things for more variety. I know the game isn't all about combat but here are a few of my suggestions.
Shields: Leather,Iron,Diamond should be the types. And While any shields are in the inventory they are automatically put to your left hand. And when you block instead of your sword while you have the shield it blocks. And every time a mob or and damage hits the shield the durability goes down depending on what its made of.
Daggers: Daggers are the same thing as swords just smaller. But lose durability more quickly, but it does twice as much damage when you are close to a mob or person.
Long Sword: This lasts longer than any of the weapons. When you attack it goes slower but does more damage.
Poison weapons: With potions you can poison your any of your weapons.
Heavy Blows: You can hold down on the mouse to do a power doing twice the damage the weapon could do.
Cross Bow: Does more damage than the bow, but takes longer to reload.
Spear:A spear does a little more damage than the regular sword. You can attack from a further distance, plus pushes back mobs or people more.
PS: Maybe make the armour/sword better textures to make it a little more medieval, and hopefully when all of my ideas go into the game =3 lol that the textures are cool too

Lol ive had this idea before i knew of the game. But i guess thats a good direction to look at for this but in a more....minecraft way.
Im not trying to be spot on here thats kind of what i meant =P
