I support! I'd love to switch back and forth between versions.
Note to people: Don't say "I like the current version", because that would be an option. Also don't say "Use MCNostalgia", because that's agaisn't the rules.

How many times do we have to tell you people! It's not against the rules because it doesn't distribute .jars, it distributes encrypted binary difference files!

This is a signature. I have literally nothing to put in it.
If you're a small map maker, send me a PM and if it's good enough I'll advertise it in my sig.

Exactly. It's the rose-tint effect.
I recall my first days in Minecraft. They seemed so much more adventurous than my current worlds- but that's because I've learned the game. Back then, I had a haphazard building style and no real plan. These days, it seems like all I do is plunk down rectangles. I'm trying to recapture that spirit, but I haven't had too much luck yet. Downgrading the game to 1.7 wouldn't do much for me, I'm afraid.

Mountain Sky Tower!
So wait- to make the game feel newer, you go back to older versions? Please take off your rose-tinted glasses.
But yes, there are ways to do this.
