My idea: Wrapping worlds.
This replaces the infinite world generator (But only if you want it to)
It's meant to save on disc space for a world. The world simply "wraps" around once you go a certain distance
(the distance across one full map) It actually feels like a small planet, once you go round the distance you're back at the same point. Same deal for north-south.
The only problems I could predict would be things like forests and rivers and lakes abruptly ending once it reaches the wrapping point... this would be ugly. This would also make a "Far Lands" effect in the Nether, and a "mirror" effect in the End.
Again, I'm not saying this is a good idea, i'm just saying it IS an idea.

Sounds good.
