we can find a liquid called petrol under the layer 34.
we can take it in a bucket and when we heat it with a furnace,something called fuel (in a bucket)so that bucket is not lost.We can make an engine with 4 pistons around and fuel in the middle.( :piston:
.........:piston: :fuel: :piston
.........:: :piston: ::) =engine
with an engine we can make a super fast minecart (:engine:

ignore the dots please
I think petrol would ruin the feel of minecraft, Considering the basic items are swords and stuff but like an acid or like green liguid would be hell cool...
Note: The below may be viewed at "mean" or "harsh". And my reaction to replies regarding my views is, as always, amused apathy.
A few things:
1) Unless you manage to relate how Steve? would have the innate knowledge of using a liquid explosive (also, how would he understand that liquid could combust?) in a set of 4~6 combustion compartments using advanced knowledge of pistons--each with specific timing sequences-- to create the energy required to allow 4 wheels to perform autonomously from the rider (aka, automobile) for travel using a post-industrial invention where no related concepts exist; I am afraid that this is not thematic as it directly contrasts with any atmosphere provided by Notch.
AKA, NO.
2) Petrol and Fuel, in any context, is far from new. When you are describing the decayed remains of ancient animal and plant life, it cannot be contrived as new. Futhermore, when you are describing this as a concept, it still isn't new as it is openly and readily suggested. Unfortunately for you, you are far from the bearer of great new truths in this case.
NO, again
3) The usage of this material is prohibitive. The only thing that can really use this is cars and other automobiles. If you were to include other potential uses like... "lamp oil" or "tar to slow down enemies", it may have some merit. As it is presented, there isn't enough of a reason to include it.
No.
4) The concept of crafting is to employ multiple inputs to attain a desired output. ERGO, the bucket would be destroyed as there can not be 2 outputs. Ergo, that part of the concept can not come to fruition. Also, forcing multiple outputs is frivolous, especially for the sake of saving 3 iron (a plentiful resource)
@yoshi9048
in real life you need milk to bake cookies.
but in minecraft you can do it by one cacao and two wheat
so????
Who the hell said anything about real life?! Get off the high horse on the real-life ********.
Also, you can make cookies in real life using 2 units of flour and 1 unit of cacao, they just become more akin to biscotti (aka tastelessly bland) and not very nutritious (aka, MINECRAFTIAN COOKIES)
You also managed to ignore point 4.
Now then...
Instead of beating a dead horse about an unrelated issue, please do me a favor and respond to the listed complaints instead of contriving new ******** to argue against.
To make things easy, I'll restate them for you, because I'm a nice guy.
1) Does not fit the theme and no mechanism is provided to allow it to fit the theme.
2) Oversuggested (this is probably the worst point against you.)
3) Not enough reason to include the material.
4) The current crafting system does not allow for what you want and this is too inane of a reason to alter the system.
This is a list of things unrelated to my arguments
1) It is derived from real-life
2) An engine contains wheat, cocoa, milk, and/or cookies
