Creepers - Personally, I would like the hissing to be followed by a brief 1 or 2 second delay instead of an immediate explosion. It gives you more time to get away. Usually when I hear the hissing sound for the creepers it's already too late for me.
Skeletons - They need to pull back their bows instead of just shooting every few seconds. It lets you know when you can block with your sword. However, they should do 2 hearts per arrow, but only shoot one arrow at a time.
Slimes - They're just not common enough. I've played since alpha, and I've never come across one that naturally spawned.
Spiders - I think that their legs should be animated. Other than that they're fine.
Squids - Need to drop something more useful. Possibly parts for craftable suction cups that let you slowly climb upward?
Villagers - AI. Herp. Not much else to say for this. Blacksmiths should be able to make special swords that only they can make, but you have to give them the materials. It should take awhile to make these.
Like I said, nothing huge. Just a few small ideas to improve the mobs.
Skeletons Already Do Pull Back Their Bow, Slimes Are Fine, You Just Need To Find A Chunk That They Spawn In, & Villager A.I. Is Still A Big Project, due to the fact bethesda has over 500 people making games, and Mojang only has 15-20 so it is truly big to make that.

I've never noticed Skeletons really pulling back their bows.

Creepers: They should stay the same except they shouldn't be as sensitive as they are now. What I mean is, you back away 7 feet and they still set off. Not only does that not hurt me but it's irritating when I'm trying to collect gunpowder. They should do more damage to armor too!
Skeletons: A pull back animation would be cool.
Slimes: I've come across plenty exploring caves/ravines/mineshafts but there needs to be a in-game method of locating a slime chunk.
Spiders: Their legs move enough in my opinion.
Squids: They need to run away when you attack them, other then that they are ok.

I don't know but I'm actually fine with the villagers right now. When I find villages I just chill in one of the houses and plunder the farm. They do get in the way sometimes when I fight mobs though.

You're doing it wrong.
This is probably the 5th time he's done this 'arrow to the knee' jokes.

No. You don't know what spam is, do you?
And I know what a meme is, and I know the arrow to the knee meme. I'm a forumer on another site with 20k+ post on it.

Villagers: Wait for February.
I thought the AI guy was coming in January.
