Well, if you want to put a trap door next to a slab just place a normal block beside it, or place 2 slabs on top of each other. AS far as torches go, use glowstone. That's my only suggestions. I like slabs the way they are and don't wish for them to change at all.
I wish I could at least place a door laying down,
so I can use it like a trap door to go to the roof of the house.
And glass pane should align in the center of the 4 square large opening
of the slab laying flat,
so I could use it as a sun roof.
Also I tried to create a porch with Slab floor and the rest all in glass
with the little top roof in Slab aswell.
but the door wont align to the Slab and it wont align to the glass pane.
One can not place torches on slabs ??
also If one makes an opening with a Slab, You can't put a trap door.?
Also, you cant put a regular door on or next to Slabs?
Also if I want to make a Slabbed Roof and have an opening and use Glass Pane
for a sun roof.
1. It wont align &
2. it wont do it.
Reeeally.? ahhh come on man....
:sad.gif:
This has to be done.
because its like super crazy limitations here.
Take the good with the bad.

this is so frustrating...
