First of all, i'd like to say that I did search this up before posting, I found only one topic with similar ideas, but it was so undeveloped and not thought out that I didn't want to bump it, so forgive me for that.
Also, Areas marked with a diamond are items or things that won a poll.
Although I despise people who do this, I'd like new mob suggestions to add, because I'm to stupid to think of five new mobs that will be unique.
______________________________________________________________________________________________ The Idea
I'd like to start off saying that minecraft is a sandbox game, our goal shouldn't be to end our adventure by killing some random dragon that we know nothing about. After you kill the Ender-Dragon, there's nothing left to do. I mean, after I killed the enderdragon, I just got bored, and haven't played minecraft that much recently. Steve needs to advance, I mean, he is a genius.
What I'm suggesting is when you defeat the Enderdragon, that's only part one of minecraft. (Next part is Defil3d's work) After you kill the dragon, you're asked if you want to adventure to a new land, if you click "yes" you'll wake up in a new area, if you click "no" you can go home and collect everything you'll need to somehow use the dragon egg to get to the new world... and stuff...

WPv2
The first new Item you'd encounter in this world is the new wood block, because I don't have a good enough name yet, I will name the planks "WPv2"
WPv2 Will have the same uses as the first wooden planks, but with WPv2 you can now create an "advanced crafting table" a commonly suggested Idea, that I am including in here as it will have a good purpose with this suggestion.
WPv2 will also be different than wooden planks visually, It will be darker than the current wooden plank's near yellow color. It can also be DYED, another common suggestion that will fit with the theme of this suggestion.
WPv2 will also be one of the two blocks able to create "thin walls" the other being stone. = 2 walls
thin walls will sit on the edge you are facing, here's what I mean:
If you are facing this way ---> the wall will be placed on this edge __|.
if that cannot be done, then it will simply be placed in the middle of the block. Thin walls can only hold glass panes, but i'm sure that won't kill anyone.
New Applications for leather
I see leather as one of the most unused items in minecraft, and really needs something to make it more useful so here are several things:
Grip, grip will be applied to items like: swords, shovels, picks, and axes. the way you apply grip is by in the crafting bench when you're creating a new item, let's say a pick, you put leather in between the two sticks, Example:
This would allow Steve to work more efficiently with these tools.
Leather also will be used in the creation of the advanced crafting table, example: wood is obviously WPv2
One more idea for leather is a whip, when used on an animal, the whip will cause that animal to follow you for a short amount of time, and you'll have to use it again to make them follow you more. Crafting:
Gemstones another popular suggestion added into here
The ruby:
The ruby will be found deep underground, and will require an iron or diamond pick with grip to collect, the time to break the ruby "ore block" would be equal to that of a diamond "ore block" with an iron pick.
right now, I only have two uses in mind, which are the same for every gemstone I will suggest, a ruby block which...is purely for aesthetics, and a ring. The ring will be crafted like this:
This ring will provide three more hearts, I know it doesn't make sense, but this is a game where spiders are near human size, and the dead are brought back to life. and...there's exploding genitalia...
The Emerald:
the emerald will also be found underground, and will require an iron or diamond pick with grip to collect. It's "ore block" will have the same amount of mining time of the ruby. the emerald ring will be created like the ruby ring, but obviously with a emerald instead of the ruby. This ring will provide you with the ability to charge the Bow ,and another item i will soon talk about, up faster.
The opal ring:
yet again, it will be found underground, and will require the same mining time and picks. the opal ring will give you a small bonus with swords.
aesthetics
New flowers and plants:
Althaea, Althaea would be like the current rose, but with white instead of red, it will also be used to make white dye, which can be used on colored dye to turn it back to white so that you can try a different color.
Typha, sadly, I cannot think of a use that at least makes some sense, so this will be purely for aesthetics, like leaves... also, if you want to know what typha looks like, i'll say this "cattail"
Another is the sunflower, now i'm sure I don't need to go into depth on that one, also a purely aesthetic item.
finally, the Sequoioideae, these would be 4x4 trees made of red wood, and would be the tallest trees in minecraft.
warning, I know the following are suggested quite often, but it fits in the theme of Steve advancing
carpets, a carpet would be as thick as snow and would be crafted like this: = 6 carpets
and obviously, carpets could be different colors. Carpets could also hold tables and chairs on top of them.
Tables, plates and chairs:
Now, these are suggested quite often, but I would like to include these for reasons stated before.
Tables will have the ability to hold plates on them, when a food item is placed on a plate it will both feed more, and slow hunger down for a short amount of time. a table would be crafted like this: (with wood obviously being WPv2 and obviously still leather)
Chairs would be purely aesthetic their crafting would be:
Now for Plates: as stated when I was talking about tables, when food is eaten on a plate it will both feed more, and slow down hunger, the plate would be made like this:
Glass pane roofing:
Now, I know the current glass pane crafting is horizontal, but that can easily be changed to vertical so that we can make glass pane roofing with the horizontal crafting.
New weapons
The flintlock:
now, hold on, this is a very touchy subject, but hear me out, the flintlock is NOT advanced and minecraft does NOT have a set time, and finally STEVE IS A GENIUS, what makes you think he couldn't make something like this? Now on to the actual flintlock, this weapon would do four more damage than a fully charged bow,and fire immediately, but it's reloading time would take 1.5 the time of fully charging a bow, it also has greater knock-back than the bow, which can be useful in a sticky situation. and as said in the gemstone section, this can have slightly improved recharge time. this could also have a knife (will be talked about later) for melee damage, but if you melee your reload time resets. It would be crafted like so: being redstone
It's ammo would be made with gun powder and iron
(I'm not big on guns, so forgive me for not knowing everything about their ammo and such)
Knife:
The knife will be used mainly for the flintlock, and making new food items, but it will do 1.5 damage less than a sword in combat. first of all, to attach a knife you simply do this:
flintlock knife
Next, you can use the knife to make new food items, such as sliced bread, pork, beef, apples, cheese, and cake. which most are used to make advanced food, that can be placed on a plate.
The Spear:
The spear, like the sword, can be made out of all the different ores and such. The spear can reach two blocks further than the sword, or most tools I should say, and can be thrown. when thrown it has FAR less range than the bow or flintlock, in fact, it can only go five blocks before landing, and when it hits, it does as much damage as a fully charged bow. It will also deal one less heart than a sword. It's crafting would be this: (Iron of course being anything from stone to diamond, and bacon yet again being leather)
Pen and books
Then pen,(another common suggestion)
The pen will have an "Ink Bar" which can be filled ten times with ink sacks, both giving the ink sack another use, and making this seem somewhat logical. when holding a book, you can right click a table and the book would be placed on the table. you can then right click the book with the pen and begin writing. Each page will take 1/10 of your ink, and each book will have a total of ten pages unless it's a "big book" but i'll get to that in a bit, you can also used different dyes as an ink substitute and create nice rainbow text. here's the crafting:
(wood obviously being WPv2)
Then to fill the pen, all you do is place it next to any type of "ink" and take it from the finished crafting box, and pen names will go something like this:
Pen 1/10 black
Pen 1/10 red
and so on, although that would take up quite a bit of IDs, so i'm open to suggestions on that.
Big book
The big book would just be that, a bigger book, meaning it will have double the pages for you to write on. would be crafted like this: ( = paper )
New food
Now, for this to work, the chance of food poisoning for raw food would have to increase, and cooked, but not prepared food's feed would have to be decreased
Sliced items: as said, the knife can create sliced items, which can later be used to create sandwiches, or mobile cake.
Cheese:
Now, I am aware that this will seem unrealistic but maybe the way you could make cheese is three buckets of milk, three sugar, and three wheat. This would make a cheese wheel, which can feed up to three bars of hunger, and when sliced is a part of the sandwich.
Sandwich:
The sandwich could be made several ways, all varying on the middle items. ( =bread =cheese )
A ) The cheese sandwich will feed three bars without a plate, and six with, it will be made like so:
B ) The meat sandwich will feed four bars without a plate, and seven with, it will be made like so: ( = Cooked Beef)
Mobs
The Zombie now has an additional five hearts, and a stone sword, they can also rarely spawn with iron armor.
The Skeleton also has an additional five hearts, and has a 15% chance of spawning with a flintlock, and can rarely spawn with leather armor.
Spider Jokeys are now more common, and the skeleton on the spider has is the same as what I just said. Spiders are unchanged.
Creepers now have three more hearts, and have the explosive power of an electric creeper.
Poll Winners: The Shield:
The shield is a very common suggestion, but it won the poll so excuse me for this. The shield can be made out of wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond. It will be in your left hand, or if you like to play pretend it's in your right...A will take the same blocking from the sword, and it would only protect you 75% of the time, and even when it does block, it only blocks three hearts. It would be made like this (replace iron with any of the normal ores, or stone, or wood)
Poison arrow:
The poison arrow would be shot like a normal arrow, and will deal half a heart of damage every two seconds for fourteen seconds, and can be cured by milk. Here's the crafting ( = Rflesh)
NPC trading is still being worked on.
The Giant (six meter tall mob)
Just to help anyone who doesn't know how big a meter in minecraft is, it's one block.
-No decided spawn rate yet
It would be a pretty slow mob, moving 1/2 a meter per second
It would deal up to nine hearts worth of damage if wearing no armor.
Seeing as it's quite the tall mob, i'll say it can destroy LEAF blocks.
The Horse
The horse can be used for moving large amounts of items, at a slow pace.
You can craft the "magical square wheeled Chest holder" like this:
You can create the saddle like this:
*note you CAN ride the horse without the cart, but it will be the same speed as with the cart.
Guiding a pig with a fishing pole
I don't think I need to explain this more than saying "It goes faster than the horse"
Two man boats and carts
Simple idea really, not much needs to be said, here's the crafting:
* Iron ladders
Same crafting as normal ladders
Temporary Sig.
I'm still working on this, but I'd like to see the feedback, before I do to much work and waste to much time.
I love the idea and I see that you have put in a lot of effort to express your ideas and get them out their.
But would it be more logical to inside of making a whole new dimension, just allowing the use and making of these blocks once you kill the dragon and follow all of your steps?
I mean you could basically have the so called "recipes" saved onto your character any ou are able to make them once you accomplish this goal. Players that did not kill the dragon are not allowed to make these items, could break them when placed by other players, but when they break they cannot collect them.
This would help avoid what everyone seems to want, dimensions for everything.
Dimensions are cool, but we have to keep them at a reasonable amount to actually make them seem important.
I mean if you had 50 dimensions, do you think they would all be important? Or do you think if there was only 3 dimensions their importance would be greater?
Just my opinion :smile.gif:I love the idea and I see that you have put in a lot of effort to express your ideas and get them out their.

true, true, but what I thought about before this, is that that's basically changing the entire world, but keeping it the same.
and yes, I didn't really wanna' ruin the importance of the dimensions, but as stated, I saw no other way around that seemed
easy on mojang.
I wonder what would happen if you would not actually have to change dimensions.. Instead lets say:
A player spawns into a new world and plays and plays until he/she kills the dragon.
Once the dragon is defeated, in certain towns there are added buildings that are like swift travel. Only players who have defeated the dragon have access to those buildings. In the buildings you have access to a vast map, showing the other large land mass where there are your blocks, weapons, food, etc. Now the players can choose whenever they want to travel to those lands which are across vast seas that are unpassable by boat etc.
You would be able to travel back and forth only if you have killed the dragon. Players who did not kill the dragon do not have access to the buildings, nor the travel.
This simple idea would reduce the number of dimensions by a little bit haha. :biggrin.gif:

separate areas in the overworld?
interesting, I like this idea. I might want to implement this in my AllDemDimensions thread.
kinda ironic how having more areas in the overworld, might actually lead to more efficiently tiering dimensions.

Thanks man, I was actually thinking about this for a while but I thought others had already thought of it. If you do add it to your thread, please leave some credit for me, because you know I want all to become popular and all that lol.

I did not actually mean what I said I said it as a joke because jellomob believes that some member named piano something keeps taking other suggestions and basically rewriting them so he can get his popularity up.
Back to the topic:
If there was a form of swift travel there would be no need for all of the dimensions, ensuring their importance to their game.

No, I got the joke, it's just that i want feedback before I start working on this again D:
and i'm still not completely on board with it being in the overworld, just cut off until you kill the dragon, but maybe it's a portal that's already there in those areas, and you have to build your own to teleport there?
hmm.. I think I will have to sleep on this before I give you a good enough answer, especially because you are looking for really helpful feedback so I should watch what I say. I will be thinking about this all night now haha, I might come up with something good unless I am overwelmed by sleep right away.

Sleep well my child, for we will conquer the galaxy at dusk.

That is acctually true (well, i'm 99% sure), i've seen most of piano9uber's posts and they have mostly all been sugested.
Anyway back to topic. This is a very good idea. If it is a seperate dimension, there has to be a way back, or everyone will kill you. But personally, I like the "seperate area in the overworld" idea better (sorry). +1 from me and I would love to see this in a mod or possibly actually put in the game by Jeb.
Maybe there could also be cyan flowers? Just like in PE Minecraft? The new crafting ideas are the best idea cause it will stop a lot of the useless posts complaining minecraft doesn't have enough weapons or furniture :tongue.gif:. This idea opens many oppertunities that almost everyone will love. Great work Thine.
Okay, I've added a new poll for one of the new items I placed in the suggestion, I'm also thinking about making a "sig" but I don't know what the picture should be, so if you'd like to help with that, suggest something related to the topic, and that will attract the eye. :laugh.gif:
Edit: it happened again -.- sorry about that, next time I won't even try..
Sorry I was not able to really think about this because I fell asleep like a child last night haha.
Anyway, I have thought of some additions to my original idea of different land masses that can only be traveled to after you finish some kind of quest etc, in this case killing the dragon. Going with the idea of different land masses, it would be cool if Mojang was able to come up with a small video the first time you travel to the new lands.
Something like:
It shows pictures of you killing the dragon, and you on a ship bound to the new land, and while the pictures area shown it says something like this in the background:
Note: * (I was thinking that they would use a old man's voice, a man of knowledge or something, someone like Gandalf from Lotr.
"You thought that killing the dragon was the end, but you have a lot to learn young one..
Killing the dragon is only the beginning of your travels. Killing the dragon was only a test of your survival skills.
You now have the option to leave the stone sword, the wooden axe, and the diamond pickaxe, and travel to a land that has previously never been talked about. Everything may seem different, new challenges will arise, and survival will be more important than ever before. If you are a true adventurer you will sail the vast seas to not only see your new challenges, but to embrace them and conquer them as you have been able to do here. The land you are now on is for new comers, and you have proven yourself to move forward. Though you do not have to leave now, whenever you may feel the urge to adventure again, come stop by and I will arrange a ship for you."
At the end of the story it asks you on the screen:
Would you like to travel now?
or
Would you rather stay here for awhile?
If you pressed the first one then it would show another video of you on the seas and the old man speaking as a narrator and explaining how you made the right choice etc. After that movie you land on the shore of the new land, with the sea behind you, and a thick forest ahead of you and mountains in the distance whose peaks touch the heavens.
Note: *Sorry the story sounds a little childish but I am kind of put on the spot right now haha :smile.gif:

WPv2 will also be one of the two blocks able to create "thin walls" the other being stone.
thin walls will sit on the edge you are facing, here's what I mean:
Leather also will be used in the creation of the advanced crafting table, example:
One more idea for leather is a whip, when used on an animal, the whip will cause that animal to follow you for a short amount of time, and you'll have to use it again to make them follow you more. Crafting:
Gemstones
another popular suggestion added into here
Another is the sunflower, now i'm sure I don't need to go into depth on that one, also a purely aesthetic item.
finally, the Sequoioideae, these would be 4x4 trees made of red wood, and would be the tallest trees in minecraft.
warning, I know the following are suggested quite often, but it fits in the theme of Steve advancing
carpets, a carpet would be as thick as snow and would be crafted like this:
and obviously, carpets could be different colors. Carpets could also hold tables and chairs on top of them.
Tables, plates and chairs:
Now, these are suggested quite often, but I would like to include these for reasons stated before.
Tables will have the ability to hold plates on them, when a food item is placed on a plate it will both feed more, and slow hunger down for a short amount of time. a table would be crafted like this: (with wood obviously being WPv2 and
Chairs would be purely aesthetic their crafting would be:
It would be crafted like so:
Big book
The big book would just be that, a bigger book, meaning it will have double the pages for you to write on. would be crafted like this: (
A ) The cheese sandwich will feed three bars without a plate, and six with, it will be made like so:
B ) The meat sandwich will feed four bars without a plate, and seven with, it will be made like so: (
New Mob
The Shadow: see here http://www.minecraft...estion-shadows/
Poll Winners:
The shield is a very common suggestion, but it won the poll so excuse me for this. The shield can be made out of wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond. It will be in your left hand, or if you like to play pretend it's in your right...A will take the same blocking from the sword, and it would only protect you 75% of the time, and even when it does block, it only blocks three hearts. It would be made like this (replace iron with any of the normal ores, or stone, or wood)
The poison arrow would be shot like a normal arrow, and will deal half a heart of damage every two seconds for fourteen seconds, and can be cured by milk. Here's the crafting (
Just to help anyone who doesn't know how big a meter in minecraft is, it's one block.
-No decided spawn rate yet
It would be a pretty slow mob, moving 1/2 a meter per second
It would deal up to nine hearts worth of damage if wearing no armor.
Seeing as it's quite the tall mob, i'll say it can destroy LEAF blocks.
The horse can be used for moving large amounts of items, at a slow pace.
You can craft the "magical square wheeled Chest holder" like this:
You can create the saddle like this:
*note you CAN ride the horse without the cart, but it will be the same speed as with the cart.
I don't think I need to explain this more than saying "It goes faster than the horse"
Simple idea really, not much needs to be said, here's the crafting:
* Iron ladders
Same crafting as normal ladders
Temporary Sig.
I'm still working on this, but I'd like to see the feedback, before I do to much work and waste to much time.
also check this forum out, we're kind of doing some..merger...thingy http://www.minecraft...dem-dimensions/

If you do add it to your thread, please leave some credit for me, because you know I want all to become popular and all that lol.
nice to see we're on topic here.
Sleep well my child, for we will conquer the galaxy at dusk.
i wish you had posted feedback DX you're one of the few on the suggestion forums with a brain.
Edit: Oh crap, usually it combines post for me, not make a new one, so sorry for double post.
CLICK HIM
Thanks :laugh.gif:
Edit: it happened again -.- sorry about that, next time I won't even try..
Note: *Sorry the story sounds a little childish but I am kind of put on the spot right now haha :smile.gif:
haha, great :biggrin.gif:
maybe if you choose to wait, you can use the dragon egg in some way?
I'd rather want him to include the aether tbh :tongue.gif:
Lol, I like it!
To each their own.
