it's often i want to make cool blinking stuff, but it's so annoying when the Redstone torches runs out! today, for an example, i was making a Christmas tree with blinking Redstone torches! but after 2 seconds, every torch burned out! i tried different methods, but no difference! :angry.gif:
i really wish those Redstone torches didn't burn out!
add me in skype and ill show you how to make a good blinking system that most likely wont burn out. maybe. my skype is the_basement_nerd nevertheless

trust me, it's the torches! i have made some circuits where everything worked except the torches! i am 100% certain it's the torches, because everything else works like it should, but the torches won't turn back on when i remove the power to it!
put in repeaters, and set them to a delay, a delay of atelast 2 ticks (click it with your mouse 1 time) should allow it to never burn out
i did that with the christmas tree, but i have another problem that can't be solved without torch! i want a piston to go in toss something on a pressure plate!

You mean with a randomizer when all the torches turn off at the same time?
Because redstone torches don't burn out on their own...

[quote=Catelite]Just because you don't understand how something works, doesn't make it broken or pointless. >_<

What you need to do is slow down the flashing. If a redstone torch flashes too quickly it WILL burn out. Just make it pulse more slowly.
