This would be dumb because the next thing would be everyone being able to do it because why have only admins do it?
Prop proection defeats the purpose of minecraft.
What do you mean by that? It sounds to me like you're saying the purpose of minecraft is to have all the stuff you worked hard on be destroyed.

Actually he makes sense to me. The point of minecraft is freedom, Notch only added admin only stone because of constant complaints and requests. What's minecraft when you can't delete anything because ops have added it? No more freedom.

Why are you putting your heart and soul into making something on a public server knowing that it could end up tore to shreds in the blink of an eye if nobody's looking? It's a game, stop acting like it's the end of the world. If you want something to last, build it privately or in single player.
i wish that when you but "/solid" in that every block would be undestructable, so griefers can't delete my house!.
If all indestructible blocks looked exactly the same as real blocks, you could never differentiate unbreakable blocks from real blocks. That's good and bad, good in the sense that griefers would have a harder time destroying stuff, and bad because then you can't separate them as easily. Variety is good, but not to the point where you lose track on which is solid or not. Also:

That too. I usually forget about the things I make after I leave a server. Though admin block variety wouldn't hurt, making them exactly the same as everything else is just not a good idea.

I DO, it's just that people try to find a way to stop griefing, and somebody else says it's impossible and tells them to stop complaining, which also won't happen.
Admin blocks are fine as they are, although I would not disagree to something like the adminglass which has been suggested.
This, however, means more and more servers are going to be absolutely covered in blocks and I won't know what I can and can't destroy.
I can understand where this is coming from... I very rarely destroy anything that's not mine because that's rude. It's not nice!
But I can imagine walking into a server, trying to... say, make a hole to go into something (which I always fix right behind me; I'm no griefer!), finding myself unable to, and leaving for a different server for experiencing that unpleasantness. Ick.
I'd personally be more forgiving of a 'locked' area which makes it very clear that the blocks within can't be changed.
---> All that said, it's what private servers and single player are for.

"I want to see forum posts saying "how do i kill dragon" with replies reading "lol"."
---> vede claimed Notch said this (and it is awesome).
I was about to support this as it would demolish Destroy griefers, but you close one door and youll only open another.
With these blocks youd end up with Permablock griefers sealing off spawns and areas.
The only thing Ive seen work against griefing is tiered membership and a god OP group.
(I support this anyway)

unsupport for this idea also.
