I think that instead of TNT working like it does currently (Setting it on fire burns it for a few seconds) the fuse should, when lit on fire, immediately start burning. The TNT would still flash but there would be a fuse burning animation.
I agree with the OP. All you guys don't get what the OP is suggesting. He wants to improve the TNT animation, not add a craftable item to make the TNT explode later.

Why does everyone think I don't have an avatar? Is there anyone who can see the one black pixel.
Please click the dragons, they need to grow. Also, my fully grown dragons can be found in my bio.
i guess they might as well add this if it's not much work, but it doesn't really bother me. i tend to stand further than 2 feet from my ignited TNT so i don't even notice the lack of animation.

What do you think? Feedback appreciated.

I KNOW that. I'm saying that when you DO ignite TNT with Flint and Steel, a fuse burns.
No no no, you don't understand. TNT should not burn when ignited. The fuse should burn, get it?
Why not just use repeaters?/explain yourself better.

and you place them, and they burn one per second, and they cross like redstone does so one fuse can simultaniously ignite lots of TNT!
