Do you remember 1.9pre2? remember the cauldron mod? well i was thinking that the other potion effects were awesome so i was having these ideas for get the other potion effects:
The Rotten Flesh can be brewed with Nether Wart into a Hungry Potion (Polyphagia Potion or something).
The Rotten Flesh can be brewed with a Fermented Spider Eye making a Nausea Potion.
The Ghast Tear can be crafted with Blaze Powder Making a Magma Tear or something like that, and then, can be brewed with Nether Wart, making a Water Breathing potion.
Now the Nausea and Hunger effcts can do the following thing with hostile mobs:
Hunger: Make that the affected mob becomes neutral for a time (hostile mobs). Make the sheep eat grass more fast and more frequently (Just Sheep)
Nausea: Make that the affected mob becomes "good" for a moment, it attack other hostile mobs, not last long (hostile mobs only)

I agree with all of this except nausea should make the mob randomly wander around for a little bit of time.
I like the ideas, but I would change the effects a bit.
Hunger: Sheep eat grass, other animals slowed down, zombies/spiders/wolves attack the nearest thing.
Nausea: Target wanders around randomly for a short time, forgets who it was chasing.
Some more ideas:
Berserk Potion
* Boosts damage dealt but increases hunger and blocks peripheral vision.
* As a splash, makes target attack the nearest thing.
Lightness Potion
* Increases jump height, reduces fall damage, increases knockback distance from explosions or attacks.
Density Potion
* Reduces movement speed, reduces/eliminates knockback distance, reduces damage taken, makes swimming harder.
I like the ideas, but I would change the effects a bit.

I do wish there were ways to get those missing potion effects, although I don't really agree with your idea of water breathing and nasea brewing. Maybe fish, sponge or kelp (would need to be added to the game) could be combined with nether warts to get water breathing. As for nausea I'm not so sure, perhaps a red mushroom. Here's another idea, Sugar+slime= slime treat or somthing, which can be brewed with nether wart to make potion of leaping.
