This new boss suggestion goes along the lines of summoning.
Every now and then you will be exploring the endless lands of Minecraft. You think you've seen everything, until you stumble a across an interesting stone brick pedestal. Four stairs lead up to a stand with bookshelves and a new structure on top.
It's not a block, but it's made from stone. I'm working on a model, but it's sort of like a stand. It indicates that you must put something on top. The stand is indestructible.
Hinted by the bookshelves, place an Enchantment Table on top of the stand. If you open it up and try enchanting a pickaxe, it will have different enchantments. Depending on the biome/location of the pedestal, there will be Summon I, Summon II, and Summon III. If you try destroying the stand with the enchanted pickaxe, the whole structure, even your Enchantment Table, will disappear, but a lightning bolt will strike the ground where the stand was and spawn the boss. The boss has a green health bar that only shows when you are within range of the boss. The clouds and sky will also turn dark, but no rain. If you leave range of the boss, the clouds seem normal.
I'm not going to come up with any bosses, but I'll create an outline.
A boss is either a mythical monster or monster version of a dangerous animal, such as a cobra. The boss depends on the biome, such as a scorpion in the desert and the Kraken in the ocean. There are three types of summons, I, II, and III. Each one is respectively stronger and has more health than the other. You can fight them in any order, any time, and any number of times, but II costs more experience than I, and III costs more experience than II. They all require ridiculous amounts of EXP.
Each boss has it's own attacks and defenses. They all have the same health, though. A scorpion boss might whack you with it's claws and jab you with it's stinger, and a Kraken might constrict you with it's tentacles. It's up to Jeb. :smile.gif:

I am meowing at my lung’s fullest. I would even argue that the echo that reverberates back to me is the voice of someone I know…
