When Notch was talking about endless worlds, he said it could allow players to find NPC villages, dungeons, monster towns, or even the moon!
We have villages and dungeons, so why not Monster towns?
They are as rare as a stronghold. They generate in flat biomes and have small huts which have a hidden spawner inside (so the monster spawns outside). In the day, the town seems abandoned. There's even a log block in the ground to show there once was a fire, but now it's dead. Some huts don't have spawners inside, but chests. At night, the monsters will spawn in the dark and roam the area. The chests will have various dungeon goodies, and sometimes pumpkin seeds.
There are 3 types of monster towns:
Zombie
Skeleton
Spider

I am meowing at my lung’s fullest. I would even argue that the echo that reverberates back to me is the voice of someone I know…
I most definitely agree, but towns on the moon? No, first, 'cause you can't even get there, and second, because what'd live in them? I like the mob villages thing, but wouldn't that just be an empty NPC village at night? It should be some kind of neutral mutated human/monster that trades with you...? He should also add mob castles, like a small fort in the middle of nowhere that if you siege will grant you a couple of rare items like a nether fort locator? Overall, awesome idea.

A first I was thinking of an opposite to villagers - goblins. Then I decided to make it simple.
I never said anything about the monster towns on the moon.
