(feel free to edit the idea if you use it... Sandmacer or sand magician
Basically it is about as tall as an Enderman and looks sort of like the stereo type Hooded-magician in sand-colored robes,
It will either spawn in a large tower made of sandstone, or a large platform of sandstone(in a desert) that's over a pit filled with cactus.
It has three different attacks
A sand blast, it looks like a snowball but is sand colored and does about half to one heart of damage. I can fire up to 3 at once
A blast that turns any block(except obsidian and bedrock) into sand, which if it fits the area it spawns in will start to make dangerous holes,
Or a blast that makes a 3 block tall pillar of san where ever it lands
It will be weak to melee damage but hard to hit with bow and arrow as it will move around during battle
That's actually a really good idea, a multiform boss XD
it should be in a big room with 3 other small rooms and when you deal 2 hearts of damage to it it flees into one room and transforms to the mob that spawns in that room
so in one room it spawns spider, in the other skeletons, and in the last one zombies
when u kill it it drops transformation gel
u use that gel in potions to make disguise potion
disguise potion changes u into a random enemy mob for 5 minutes
it drops from 4-5 transformation gel
if u go into the rooms and kill all the mobs in it one room has a reguler chest, another with a silver chest, and the last one with a golden chest.
in the reguler chest it has items u can find in a dungeon
in the silver chest it has items from dungeons AND 3/10 chance of having diamonds in it
in the gold chest u can get items from dungeons AND a 6/10 percent chance of getting diamonds
once u take everything out of the chests then they dissapear and in the middle of the big room is a chest with a ditto summoner.
you can only use it in the big room and it summons ditto again
then the chests keep appearing back in the small rooms and the one in the big room
you can only fight him 3 times then after that u dont get a ditto summoner
ditto also drops gel
u can use it to tame slimes once there tamed u use red mushrooms(or something better thats all i could think of) on them so they can have babies just like cows, chickens, sheep, etc
so that sounds cool doesnt it?
An overworld creature who spawns in lairs found in hillsides and mountains. He flies about and spits ghast fireballs. He is very difficult to kill, and if you defeat him, he will be tamable. You can kill him when he has become peaceful and tamable, but doing this is a dumb idea. :tongue.gif:
2. GIANT
Giant cyclops creatures that grief everything around them and are very deadly and destructive. They spawn in flat areas and roam around. When they smash the ground, blocks will fly up, and if they land on you, you will take damage.
3. DEMON
Giant devil-like creatures who spawn in the Nether, necromance hordes of zombies, and fire streams of flames at you. Sometimes they will fly at you and try to stab you with pitchforks.
4. SAND WORM
A massive brown worm with teeth and no eyes that spawns in deserts and will race towards you at immense speeds. Making underground trenches and tunnels when fighting this creature is essential, but beware, because they might burrow into them!
5. KRAKEN
A giant red squid that spawns in oceans and will attack with massive tentacles. He's pretty angry all the time because his people, the Squids, are nearly useless and also very weak.
6. SPIDER QUEEN
Spawns in large randomly generated Spider Caves filled with cobweb and spiders. It will spit poisonous venom spikes at you, and also create spiders who will come and attack you.
This is not a comedic thread, I started this for the sole purpose of people's ideas and mine of bosses
Nice ideas! I'll consider them
I have no clue what a Fenrir is, but Lupa is not a queen, she's a she wolf and a pack leader. Anyone who reads roman mythology or The heroes of Olympus would know what she's from.
Yes, I know, I just feel like this Lupa idea is a bit... you know; small. No harm meant or anything, but a boss should be kinda big and hard to beat, don't you think? If we made Lupa a bit larger, or have some special powers like a stunning howl or something?

Im working on something similar to that just wait and see
Okiday
So we have bosses for the forests, deserts and oceans. But what about a mini-boss in a big lake? It could be a big fish, or perhaps a stranded giant crab?
This kind of goes along with other suggestions, but...
Scribble:
A boss that has no definite form. It can shapeshift into many forms, like a cannon, a giant flail, a bomb, a noose, or anything else that can cause peril to you. It would look like a scribble.
Loosely based off of the idea of shapeshifters, and off of the final boss of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
Oh and I love the idea of a sand worm. The spice must flow! ( s to those who get the reference)
<Insert Einstein quote here> <Insert mod/texturepack/skinshop/server/clan banner here> <Insert favorite posts here>.....As you can see, I procrastinate a little too much
A human, just like you, but corrupted from exposure to the end/endermen. He would look like Steve, but his clothes would be dark, and we would wear dark armor. He would only have 20 hearts, but he would be wearing armor that's stronger than diamond (end armor, if you will), and has a sword of the same material that ignores half of your armor. He would also be able to jump (to avoid pits, lava, traps, etc.), and can destroy blocks with tools to get to you. This includes obsidian. He also carries a bow to attack you from range, again just like yours. (Skeleton-like accuracy, but the damage of your bow. He regenerates health at the rate of one heart per minute or so. (open to change) The idea for this came partly from C418's Minecraft Alpha album, where there's a song called "Chris". A sort of Anti-Steve, if you will.
The Obsidalisk:
A 27 block long obsidian snake, with 27 segments each being a block of obsidian. The blocks all have their own health and hitboxes, and if one is broken the gap is fixed by pulling the two ajacent segments together. It can only be damaged by a pickaxe, and is the same as mining, but the cracks stay for obvious reasons. The battle starts when you start to mine a 3x3x3 cube of obsidian and it gets mad.
Blase Arch:
A giant blase that movves swiftly, sometimes pausing. It attacks by shooting 3-5 ghast balls(most common), 7-15 homing blase rods that take one hit to break and go at least 2 blocks before turning after they miss, they drop nothing(used often), and spawning 2-3 blases to attack you(least used). The Blase Arch is very resistant to arrows and too far to hit with a sword, the best way to damage it is ghast ball reflection.
I really like the jellyfish. I think they would be the perfect aggressive watermob because physically they work really well with minecraft's blocky graphics, unlike sharks which would probably look terrible and are honestly awfully boring. It's really important to take minecraft's graphical style into account when it comes to new mobs in my opinion.
Biggest problem with giant boss mobs is the fact that they can get stuck on things, or that the player can just dig a small hole and whack away at them in total safety. Making bosses in a sandbox game is especially difficult because you have to take the fact that the player can alter the landscape to their advantage into account.
I have no clue what a Fenrir is, but Lupa is not a queen, she's a she wolf and a pack leader. Anyone who reads roman mythology or The heroes of Olympus would know what she's from.
Fenrir is a gigantic wolf-god-thing that, according to norse mythology, will eat the moon at the end of the world.
Can't believe nobody came up with this.
A werewolf is extremely rare. It can only spawn at night, and can have insane speed and attack' do to it's very sharp claws. It has 15 hearts, and would be safe to attack from a distance. They only spawn after 15 nights. Kind of like a mini-boss.

A wraith is a form of supernatural entity, and in Halo, the name is used for an alien tank. As long as the name isn't used for a tank, it's original.

Mole Lizard

Both the wraith and the lich are derived from European mythology and thusly predate games in general.
They're both real mythical creatures.
Fenrir is a gigantic wolf-god-thing that, according to norse mythology, will eat the moon at the end of the world.
Just breakdancing along...
Okay sure im a brony but DO YOU THINK I FLIPPIN CARE?! AM I PROUD OF IT?...Okay maybe but...DEAL WITH IT DANGIT!
