Can you spawn in any dimension?
Of course there will be things you can and can't get in all of them, like the way
you can't get obsidian in the nether, but maybe get the ingredients needed for a portal to The Deep,
get grass(?) and then make a portal to the overworld. this way, you can spawn in any main dimension,
and still survive and thrive, just differently in each dimension.

Yes, you will be able to start with nothing in any dimension, and obtain the materials for a portal to the overworld (if you didn't spawn there). the overworld is like a hub for all of the main dimensions. That means you will be able to obtain obsidian and iron (flint+steel) in the Nether. You won't be able to go from the nether to the skylands or the water dimension without going through the overworld, however. it will be difficult to start in the Nether, more difficult in the skylands, and even more difficult in the water dimension. You won't be able to start in the expanded End.

Here's what I was thinking for the dimension eyes:
Water: Upper 2 corners have Glow Goo, lower 2 have Seaweed, all other spaces have Bubble Blocks.
Skylands: Spaces above and below the pearl have lightning bolts dropped for my proposed Lightning Cloud mob (could be the electric blocks too). To the sides of the pearl, some sort of cloud block, and the corners..... Some sort of Skylands plant, I'd imagine? We really need to brainstorm more stuff for the Skylands.
Nether: Upper-right and lower-left corners have Magma Cream. Other 2 corners have Lava Buckets. All other spaces have Nether Brick (Netherrack is too easy to get). Maybe the Nether brick could be replaced with a nether plant or some kind of ore?
Also, perhaps each dimension could have an "Ender" mob to make the pearls obtainable. Maybe they could drop a special pearl that can only make the dimension's pearl? This would really give way to some interesting possible backstory fans come up with regarding the Ender mobs.

The pearls and eyes should be completely renewable, made of enderpearls and rare mob drops.
Each eye uses another item crafted with it, just one.
Ghast tear = Nether eye
Bubble block = W.D. eye
Pearls use multiple, using a TNT/checker pattern with an enderpearl in the middle.
Each uses two drops(excluding the pearl), alternating.
Blase powder + lava core = Nether
I made a thread about THE CREEP. EVeryone said it was exactly like the end with creepers. i wouldt call it nether eye because people said that was a copy of the end and un original sorry.

Yeah, people can be annoying sometimes. I like the CREEP, except for the bow, it needs to be less OP.
In the jungle of the water dimension on the crust, their should be theses types of spiders. They are larger then normal spiders, being 2 blocks wide and 2 blocks long, and like cave spiders they should be able to poison. They should have maybe more Hp then a normal spider due to their increased size. Also if you kill it, their should be a chance that on death, it should make all Jungle Spiders in like a 20 Block radius instantly follow you to attack you.
They should also be able to spawn at a higher light level like level 10 light level. When they die they would drop string and maybe something else to make the tier 1 dive suit. Maybe that item could be like a spore from the spider? It is in the jungle, fungus could have grown on it.
This is my first idea for the thread. Hope you like it.

That's not as simple as it sounds, as can't port forward.
You don't need to port forward! :biggrin.gif: Just go to the server.properties and make the server-ip localhost and then join your server with localhost as the IP and you can play! Nobody else will be able to join, and you can do it offline :biggrin.gif:

a big stoneroom. there's a hole in the middle on the ground and on the roof. the hole on the roof is filled with a big spider-web.
Movement type
she's hanging on the roof most time. but sometimes, she's crambling down to tackle you
Method of attack
1. scrambling down to tackle you.
2. shooting spidereggs which will spawn spiders
3. while tackeling, she will spawn spiders nearby
4. shooting web to slow you down
5. when she lost some health, she'll start spwaning cave-spiders.
Effects on landscape
while tackling, she creates web.
Vulnerabilities/defeating
she got some red points at her body. there's always 1 point glowing. try to hit that point with your bow to make damage.

falling down and taking that "death-spider" position

Posion: act's like water but doesn't go so far. it will poison everything that touches it.

In the deeper parts of the water, their are things that Steve is not meant to know. This horror is a key to those horrors.
The Daemonic fish is found in the lower parts of the water where their is little to no light. It's attack is simple, ram. To lure people to their deaths the fish casts a eerie purple light around it. When you get to close, it attacks you. Its attacks are bad because it not only does 2 hearts of damage in easy, 3 on medium and 4 on hard, it can apply weakness buffs on you for 1 minute. The fish has around 13 hearts of damage making it fairly hard to kill.
The fish could drop daemonic scales for the higher tier dive suits, rotten flesh because its a daemonic fish and bubbles. The scales could not be only used for the suit but can maybe be crafted with a diamond sword into a eerie blade that can cause weakness to mobs to.

This all is amazing. I want to see: Cross Dimensions, Nethquea as an ex. so you start on the overworld fight the overworld boss, then get someting to go to the nether ONLY accesable FROM the overworld boss realm.

Hey I suggested uderwater volcanoes and watery volcanic smoke a few pages back already. I also suggested that some mobs feed of of/spawn in the volcanic smoke like in real life.

Tried to retexture the iron bars into looking like seaweed, but the water seems to be quite a big problem.-.-
The reason I put glowstone under the seaweed is so that you should be able to see what the seaweed looks like.
