dark blue-black eel with large tail fins, small pincers, and luminescent lights on side and head

how a dimension more suited towards miners?
my otherworld dimension idea is the closest i've been able to come up with...
basically it would have many features like it would be dark, all the time due to the heavy clouds on this dimension (which means no grass or plants could grow here). second, you could jump 3 times higher and fall slower due to the reduced gravity. third, the unique atmosphere extinguishes all fire, torches, redstone torches, and furnaces and evaporates lava. fourth, there would be many new ores but iron and redstone would be here. and fifth, instead of a furnace, you would make a radioactive oven with its feul would either be redstone, uranium, or plutonium. and you could smelt two ores at once or even combine them to for a new non-minable ore (like copper + Iron = Bronze or Uranium + Iron = Plutonium), but you can't cook food on it. and lastly you would use lanterns for light, which can be made with either Iron + glowstone dust or Iron + redstone dust. the redstone lanterns would power redstone circuits just like redstone torches.
Kool idea but i think that might be more of a mod however i do think that minecraft could use most of those items
Also, this isn't much, but maybe one of the bosses could be based around status effects. Perhaps he could throw splash potions up into the air to buff himself, and you'd get close to absorb those, while meanwhile, he shoots projectiles that inflicts negative effects (poison, slowness, blindness, weakness, damage). Could perhaps make for a creative boss fight.

There was a good suggestion a while back about a Nether boss that would attack with a sword (can't find it now). As for a blaze based boss I was thinking of adding one to a dungeon with special loot but not as the Boss of the Nether.

That was a boss boss suggestion, I really like the concept of having to dodge his swords and bounce back his fireballs.
Also, this isn't much, but maybe one of the bosses could be based around status effects. Perhaps he could throw splash potions up into the air to buff himself, and you'd get close to absorb those, while meanwhile, he shoots projectiles that inflicts negative effects (poison, slowness, blindness, weakness, damage). Could perhaps make for a creative boss fight.
This would be very good if the boss was the size and shape of another player... just think about it!

Well, it really all boils down to that so, as long as it isn't a dragon...
It also should have some kind of feature of the SD as way to fight it,
I recently pulled inspiration from a few posts and came up with a Golem boss where you need to mine his legs to get him to topple over (mining being a key part of the Overworld)
It would make for a unique and interesting boss fight IMO, one that suits Minecraft's style.
I think we should try and make our other bosses in a similar way, using concepts that appear in the main dimension to combat the boss.
The sky boss should be a Bison, search up Appa on google images to see what I am talking about.
Also will you add a feature to turn the nether + end features off :wink.gif:

You don't understand even if it is just go into a notepad file and change it to false I would prefer it.
And I'm telling you again. If you don't like it, don't download it. All of these dimensions will be interconnected, so one "false" isn't going to do it. It isn't like Mo' Creatures where its just getting rid of a mob spawn, especially since the generation code itself is going to be altered.
Why are so vehemently opposed to it? You want to turn off everything we have suggested except the Kyther, which you seem to already be trying to make.
Maybe there could be a miniboss guarding every boss portal, the blase boss I suggested could guard the nether boss portal. The blase boss is the blase swarm, it fires homing blase rods at you and the only way to defeat it is to survive until it has no blase rods left. Homing blase rods drop nothing and have 2 hearts.
Perhaps we could introduce a nuclear wastelad dimension, instead of a biome. This biome would be really cool is implemented and the boss could be a mutated creeper or enderman. Tell me what you think.

Pulled a lot of inspiration from some posts, mostly from EternalUndeath's post about pickaxes doing more damage to a boss.
Kind of hard to remember all the boss suggestions though, could you post yours again?
Why? A whole dimension would be nice, and we'll probbably rename it the Ender, and make the endderdragon's realm the End.
Think of it like this, the End won't change at all, we just want to jam a huge new dimension called the Ender in between.

This is obviously not what the finished product will look like, it's more to get a grasp on length and width.
And it will be made of "end bricks" or something, as I recall someone suggesting that.
