Notch has mentioned it before. Mod Support. It's a good idea. We need Mod Support (Official Mod Support).
What I'm thinking is this:
There is a "Mods" button in the main menu. First, you click it. You then go into a Mod Manager which allows you to enable or disable mods in-game. To add a Mod, you click the "Add Mod" button, which then asks you to select the file from the downloads folder (Or wherever you download your mods to). Then, the mod will be added to Minecraft. It will then close Minecraft, open an installer and install the mod. It will also warn you if two mods are incompatible. But, instead of not continuing the download, it will somehow make the mods compatiable by either changing the name of a .class folder or changing a block ID. When the mod has installed successfully, the Installer will ask you if you want to reopen Minecraft.
Simply click "Yes" or "No"
So, there's my idea. What do you think? Give me some feedback on it.
Thanks.
I have a computer that cannot run mods normally due to the jar getting all messed up. (Trust me, an iMac G4 PowerPC running 10.4.11 cannot for some reason) So, anyway, I can't wait.

I don't always die with full diamond armor, but when I do, it's because I fell off a cliff.

By the way, Notch has stepped down as lead developer and now Jeb is lead developer.
