Ok, so, I was thinking,"What if I could choose what biome I spawned in?"
So I thought maybe you could choose to spawn in:
(1) Any biome
(2) A village
(3) Next to a ravine
(4) Next to a river
(5) In a cave (within the top 20 or so blocks from the surface)
(6) On a mountian
(7) In the Nether
(8) In a stronghold
(9) (Maybe) in an Abandon Mineshaft
This would all be a GUI when you first make a map.
I think it would be a very good idea, because it takes forever to find a village, it would be nice to spawn in one.
EDIT:Oh no, I just saw a suggestion like this at the bottom of the page :sad.gif: sorry
Well, honestly, it is a very bad idea. There is too much overpower in that. A guy "born" in a forest has 20% more chance to be better than one in a desert, for example. Minecraft is all about luck. Like what you have.

"Hi my name is World Generation Seed. I'm absolutely free and easy to use! Just go into the Seeds section of the forums and pick a seed that appeals to you! Remember to look at the version number though."
I don't think this is a good idea because it would take out all the fun spawning in different places and because it would make all the rare spawn points not rare anymore.
