Before reading this topic please read my first topic about NPC fortresses here.
Someone posted a reply on my original post about missions you can do for NPC fortresses (NPCF), I liked the concept so I made a post on how a mission process works
So first you must make alliance with a military faction by talking (right-clicking) to the captain (note, that is a regular NPC not a captain), once he gives you alliance you can now do missions by talking to the captain once again. Lets say he tells you to infiltrate a enemy fortress and steal some items.
Once you completed your primary objectives and returned to base, you must deposit your items in the objective box.
Now return to the captain and collect your experience orbs.
*Note the Maga cream represents experience orbs, Captains won't give magma cream.*
The idea of missions with Combat NPCs are endless including assassinations, Fortress clearings and capturing flags. This could cause an evolution within Minecraft.
Feel free to express you own ideas or opinions about Combat NPCs and NPCFs.
What about each village has a Knight who would fight off intruder's etc Though if you offer something etc he will let you roam about without attacking,Though stealing,Killing etc would make him wanna kill you again :3

Combat NPC fortresses are located near NPC villages so this knight could be a sentry who contacts the NPCF, from there a whole group of Combat NPCs will hunt you down, this would break your alliance if they were the faction you worked for.

Yeah,Also maybe over a certian amount of time the villages would "Advance" and become more "Teachnical" Etc
Eventually get more weapons like guns and stuff..A TANK :ohmy.gif:

Tanks and guns are going to far. That would take the feel of Minecraft away quickly. Can bedrock is not obtainable in survival unless you have cheats.
I was joking around there, Tanks and guns would be pushing it. However I still like the idea evolution in the villages, perhaps villagers can learn how to mine or fight mobs.
How about villages having flags and the primary and tertiary colors should be warring against the secondary colors? Also, villages should be conquerable by destroying any nearby allied NPCFs and killing any combat NPCs.

Why does everyone think I don't have an avatar? Is there anyone who can see the one black pixel.
Please click the dragons, they need to grow. Also, my fully grown dragons can be found in my bio.

I have wrote about the flags idea on my original post, but conquerable villages sound interesting.
i really dont know what to say, this should be put a tale of kingdoms mod,i am have no words to describe this...
is neither good or bad,is just, just.
I'm a purest when it comes to Minecraft, meaning I don't use mods, plus I want this to be more than just a mod as some players don't have access to mods.

well,in any case, you might leave this to the capture the flag mode, its fits better for me,but its just me,i just dont like a bit retrieving stuff.

I have thought up of a new idea!
Combat NPC Outposts (NPCO), NPCOs work as checkpoints for the player if he/she does not have bed in inventory, however they're are rules that go along with NPCOs:
1.-They can only be used if you're allied to the faction that's owns them.
2.-They can only be used during missions.
3.-They cannot be picked up if destroyed.
To use a NPCO as a checkpoint you must doing a mission, then simply climb up it and right-click the center block, from there it automatically acts as checkpoint, right-click it again if you no longer want it to be your checkpoint. Once you finished the mission NPCO will no longer act as a checkpoint.
*Note that is actually lapuiz with pressure plate on top of it, they're suppose to represent a checkpoint block.

I like the idea. Maybe there should be an NPCO at each of the 4 corners of an NPCF.

I think about mission related items such as binoculars and a objective compass which points to where the next objective is, but these are still basic concepts.

Oh, here is a free signature, use it and support NPCFs

Tanks should be craft-able, here's the recipe:
Thats the point lol...If you wanna take away the feeling of Minecraft,Then you will have to hack

That would be cool but it would be purely cosmetic because there's a barracks inside the NPCF.
