So imagine yourself, stuck in a cave, only a few hearts left and your trusty sword on it's last hits before it breaks, then suddenly, a mob of mobs come to ambush you from the darkness! You'll find that it would be very hard to escape during this situations, even harder if you were lost without any torches to find your way out!
Because of this, I present a weapon capable of unleashing the punishment of daylight on our fiendish foes! Capable of stunning them with an incredible burst of light! I present to you, the SUN BOMB!
The sun bomb is created with a mix of gold nuggets, redstone dust, gunpowder, and lightstone. Once created, this weapon will be able to stun your enemies, but not strong enough to burn them for a few seconds! Letting the sunlight hit you when you have this in your bag/equipped, will get it to charge up for a much more punishing blast!
How would you know if it's fully charge? Well, replacing our durability meter, we have a sunlight bar! Just see it fill to the max to see if it's ready.
The effect, once used, would immediately stun any enemies in it's vicinity, with remnants of light quickly disappearing (about two seconds or so), but it could also blind you if you even manage to see it around the corner of your eyes. The sunlight's burning effect isn't in it's strongest form, so it would only last for 3 seconds, causing less damage than regular sunlight.
I think it should be a single use item that unleashes the affect of daylight on mobs, such as burning zombies and skeletons, and making spiders neutral.
