End stone doesn't really have any use at the moment, besides being able to show off that you've successfully escaped the end. Here's a handy incentive to get it.
What if teleporting to end stone, by hurling an ender pearl at it, dealt no damage to the player? It would provide an incentive to collect the stuff, in order to create teleportation pads on earth and in the nether, so you can ender teleport around without injury.
If you had a parkour map, or a Portal style test chamber, you could build areas out of end stone to encourage teleporting to those spots or allow rapid acrobatic teleportation.
It makes sense too. End stone, the native material of the enderman's world, might amplify their powers and allow teleportation to occur without a catch.
I don't think this is overpowered. Being able to teleport without injury around during the enderdragon boss fight wouldn't help too much - the challenge there isn't escaping the dragon but actually hitting the damn thing. And it wouldn't be overpowered on Earth since the player would have to take the time to build every spot they want to teleport to. Plus, teleportation would still require collecting pearls, this just spares you the bit of damage.

99% original. I actually suggested something similar a while back, but suggested that obsidian would have this quality (since it's used in portals). I think end stone makes even more sense though, and provides a useful purpose to a currently functionless block. And end stone is easier to build with than obsidian.
It would also be nice if there was another kind of block that prevented teleportation. So like in Portal you could have walls/floors/ceilings that permit teleportation and other areas that don't allow it.
