Anyway, I was never good at downloading mods and the HD texture pack thing. I was wondering, maybe a tool where you would upload an HD texture pack, and all it did really was resize the stuff in the TP folder down to normal Minecraft TP scale. So basically, it would pixelate the HD textures.
And please, don't go "Here's an easy way to download HD textures" or something like that. I just want opinions on this. No ones like "Well, I think it's useless. Because you can just download HD textures using a tool.", PLEASE. I don't want HD textures anyway. (It'd be cool, I guess, but I keep failing at doing so)
I hope a coder sees this and could get inspired. :smile.gif:

If what you have conjectured is that higher textures would we re-sized to 16x16 I must object. That wouldn't work very well. A face would rarely even stay looking like a face.
I guess he means some function that changes the resolution automatically based on the texture pack you pick instead of doing it by some manual file means. He doesn't mean crunching the graphics.

So essentially a built in MCpatcher. I would bolster that.

Curse PremiumNo, I don't know of a way besides manually resizing the files.
In GIMP and Photoshop there are ways to batch-resize images, so that could work for you.
