I'm not 100% sure on how this works but from what I can gather it's pretty much free to use this, except:
a) You can't use a credit card to pay
:cool.gif: You'd have to buy 20EUR worth of credit in your local currency (so you'd have to check rates manually)
c) I don't really understand the service so it might not even work in terms of what Notch is selling http://www.smskambi.com/
Doesn't mention commission anywhere, I'm sure it charges commission but you'd have to contact them about it I guess.
So that would be SMS option
Another SMS option is OneBip
They DO charge commission but I couldn't find out the rate for it.
Click and Buy is a direct Bank Transfer or Debit/Credit Card payment method.
I couldn't be bothered looking for their commission charges, but it's inevitable they do have one.
Update:
Fees:
Debit Card - None
Unconfirmed Bank Accounts - 1.50USD
Credit Card - 3.6% of Transaction (approx $3 at full price)
I think I told someone to do that before as a joke. But really, no that would be a bad idea. You'd have to attach a note with your IGN and Email, a return address (for refunds if Notch wanted/had to supply those) and it would be inconvenient for Notch to manually update the DB like that.
I could see it causing problems on a larger scale, but thus far only - what, three or four? - people would even have to consider this method. Perhaps if they sent Notch an email and got his feedback on it.
But like csquid said, PayPal does the same thing. I suppose ClickAndBuy would be the next best thing. It's trustworthy I can be assured of that.
clickandbuy is a good service, but it does exactly what Paypal does, they support the same credit cards as Paypal and have the same system for handling money, it wouldn't make sense for Notch to add it, he'd have even more accounts to manage and make tracking his money harder. That's why I'm disagreeing with creating more payment methods, I can understand that people use different things but Paypal covers 95% of every customers needs.
1. Have a friend with PayPal gift you the game.
2. Hand them the cash.
3. ???
4. Profit.
This is, alas, about the only realistic option a teenager has. Being a teenager really sucks! Once you have majority status, paypal really actually is a good option.
So you can't get access to a credit card? How else do you expect to pay? It's entirely possible for Notch to use phone payments but it is not practical in the slightest, doing so would be stupid. It costs well over 50% to Notch in fees, would you be willing to pay >$60 for minecraft?
How narrowminded are you?
