This mob would be called something like Shift, what this mob would spot you for 16 blocks away like most mobs, an would jump high in the air thn come through the ground and come up near you and land on you if you dont move. It would look like steve just re-textured but its legs would be like a spring or something.

I think it's a bit late to suggest things for Minecraft developers, but this would be a cool mod.

It's never too late to suggest changes to Minecraft. They are still going to be adding new content.
