There are 3 things that i always have thought that should be added/changed in minecraft, and they are relay logical:
Cocoa plant: You find Cocoa Beans in dungeons, and they are essential for making the color brown. But they are for some weird reason not able for you to get in a normal way. It is really hard to get many of them, they are not super good in any ways, and due to them being hard to get just reduces the creativity in the game (restricting users from using the color brown).
I think you should be able to plant the beans on tilt soil (with the same mechanics as wheat) and you get 1-3 beans when harvesting a Cocoa plant.
Apples: It is just weird and confusing that you only can get apples from dungeons, it would make more sense with apple trees, or apples being able to drop from leaves. This would be a good adding after 1.8 since it makes it easier to get food to refill your food bar. It also matches the real world better, since you in the real world can find fruits, berries etc.
Saddles: They are really a good idea, but since they are so hard to get and you cannot control the pig, people don't use them. So i think they should have been improved to be more usable.
All of this changes are only an easy and more logic way of getting stuff that are restricted to only being possible to get after defeating a dungeon. they are not super good, and would work as a small aid or improvement of the creativity of the game.
i think the most important change would be the cocoa plant, since the color brown is weary important, and should be easier, or even possible to get big amounts off brown wool.
What do you think abut this changes? And would it be hard to make a mod to make the cocoa plant?
It would be more logical to plant the cocoa beans and have a tree come up but yeah I see where you're coming from.
I thought about making them grow into trees, but that would be a big change to the game, so i think a plant growing like wheat would be a small easy logic change.

xXnamco4Xx: wow cool, i would love to test it :biggrin.gif:
1. cocoa trees are going to be added as stated by jeb
2. saddles will be able to be crafted in the future
apple trees are a good idea however
Seriously? So good :biggrin.gif:
When did they tweet that? If it was like a year ago i hardly believe they are still thinking about it :wink.gif:
