These are a few suggestions that would make Minecraft a bit better. They aren't major annoyances, but it would be nice if they were gotten rid of.
1) The ability to place a clock on a wall? That would be nice. It's good you can view an accurate clock in a chest, but it would have a more lifelike feel to have wall-mounted clocks.
2) The ability to craft saddles with leather. Would make the acquisition of a saddle LOADS easier.
3) Regrowth of wool on sheep. The way it works now, I have to keep re-breeding a big bunch of sheep, shearing them, and killing the sheared sheep. Would be better with wool regrowth.
4) More uses for Gold? The only useful things gold is good for is clocks and powered rails. And powered rails are really on the fence in this situation. Either make gold more useful, or more common.
5) Fix the whole cake bug with buckets. Cakes are nice, but it is a bit annoying to waste 6 iron ingots every time I make it.
6) I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, but the only real way to kill an Enderman anymore is to randomly click back and forth with a sword. Water buckets and Lava buckets have minimal effects since the 1.9 update, and I thought liquid weakness was a good idea. Could Mojang bring liquid damage back?

Possibly coming, see the achievments page (you must have "Cow Tipper" before "When Pigs Fly")

Uh...tools, powered rails...does it need more uses for this? I can do 1030 things with powered rails alone.
What? You get your buckets back after making the cake.
They do still take damage in water...that's why my floating garden isn't ransacked every night.
1. Not quite sure I understand. If it requires a mod, than the answer is no. The only mod I run is Clay Soldiers. I like to keep it to 1 or 2 mods at a time.
2. Good.
3. Good.
4. I'm a big fan of vanilla minecraft, and I don't find minecart tracks an efficient use of resources. Gold tools break ridiculously easy, along with the armor. It is a use, but not a good use.
5. I wasn't aware of this. My mistake.
6. They do take damage, but they can't be killed as easily in water, and I don't like destroying the landscape with lava. Ender Pearls are a delicacy.

The searchbar at the top right. Many people have suggested this before.
Gold tools break easily, gold does so in real life, but if you can't find uses for powered rails then you need to start using your brain more; I once made a doorbell that worked by running Minecarts over detector rails because I could. It doesn't have to be for a Minecart station, I recently used them to create an automatic storage shed that sent the correct storage carts to my base at the push of a button.
Then swing with your sword, it doesn't take a lot of work to click. It was most likely nerfed to improve combat; it's not like it requires that much energy to walk up to one of the large guys and poke it with a diamond sword, so I don't see a problem with improving combat at all...o_o

It's not that I can't find uses for powered rails. I just don't believe that minecart tracks are good use of iron and gold resources. And I wasn't complaining about the energy involved in clicking(anyone can do it), but mobs having weaknesses just adds another fun dimension to the game.

It gets fairly annoying seeing loads of sheared sheep roaming on servers.
