(This has probably already been suggested, idk, was too lazy to spend 10 minutes to look)
Enchantments right now are limited to a few tools, and I have some pretty decent ideas on enchantments for other tools, including bows, hoes, ect.
Bow enchantments:
5- Fire Arrows: The bow shoots out flaming arrows that catch mobs/flammable objects on fire when hit. Mobs will burn for a shorter time than normal, like blaze fires, and fire spread from the arrows have a max spread radius of 1-2.
7- Lightning Arrows: Instant-hit arrows that have a less violent sounding lightning sound, do slightly more damage and have a damage radius of 1 block.
10- Triple Shot: Shoot 3 normal arrows, only works while the bow string is fully pulled back. Extremely inaccurate, however.
Fishing Rod enchantments:
2- Big Catch: Reel in a slightly bigger fish, probably colored red. Replenishes 1 extra hunger pip.
5- Double Catch: Reel in 2 normal fish.
8- Better Bait: Bobber sinks faster, and when it does, sinks for a longer, more noticeable time.
Hoe enchantments:
3- Seed Chance: Hoeing normal grass will sometimes yield seeds, (like 9 out of 10 times), as if it were before more recent times.
5- Fertilizer: Hoeing farmland will enrich soil with a very thin dark green coating that decreases growing time for crops.
7- (Unnamed): Hoeing farmland will give the soil a red tint, and you can grow Nether Warts on it in the overworld. (suggested this due to very annoying going back-and-forth for brewing)
Potion enchantments:
10- Catalyze: Increases the effect and duration of level 2 potions slightly.
10- Reactive: Throwing potions have a slightly larger radius and do radius damage. (grenades?)
Swords: (just a thought)
15- Flaming: Anything hit by the sword will set them on fire (once again, the fire the blaze sets you on)
17- Electric: Anything hit by the sword will sometimes experience electrical shocks, jolts that do slight damage. To creepers, this would supercharge them.
I'm new to enchanting so PLEASE inform me if any of these exist, and tell me your suggestions and improvements to mine!

None of those exist, great ideas :biggrin.gif: but griefers will go insane with the flame arrows... heres one of mine
SWORD
UNNAMED(pigs bane?): when attacking a pig it will catch fire and die in 1 hit, and it drops cooked porkchops :biggrin.gif:

Like I said, the MAXIMUM burn radius would probably 1 or 2, and the fire might not even go THAT far. Accidents might happen, and if it really is an ACCIDENT, not much will happen.
Griefers would be dealt with via plugins, like i stated earlier.
Another one for bow, which could be used for anti-grief or accidents:
5- Water Arrow: Shoots out an arrow, with a bubble trail, when hit it does the animation for a potion explosion, and fire in the radius will be put out, farmland will be watered.

Would obviously be disable-able with a mod like essentials. Just like flint and stone and lava and fire and so on.
