I'm suggesting that Minecraft should improve on all of the biomes, and perhaps add a few biomes.
Each biome should have a more distinct foliage colour difference, rather than having each biome be a bland slight shade change, as well as certain animals in each biome.
- Forest biomes should have Deer. They drop meat and leather when killed, less meat than cows and more leather than cows, and will run away faster than other animals when hurt. When killed, they will always drop 1 set of antlers, which can be worn as a hat. :tongue.gif:
- Taiga biomes should have an increased wolf spawn rate.
- Swamplands should have crocodiles that spawn in the swamp water. They will only attack at night, and are enemy MOBs that only respawn in swamps. They drop Teeth (which can be used for arrows or turned into 1 bone meal per tooth) and Scales, which can be used for defensive potions.
- Extreme hills should have goats. These goats can be sheared for wool, and usually have yellow coats. They will attack you if you attack them by running into you and knocking you back by 5 blocks, doing no damage but usually sending you over mountains. When killed, they will drop wool and horns. The horns can be grinded into horn powder for potions, and the horns can be worn as a helmet. :biggrin.gif:
- Scorpions should spawn in deserts. They are like spiders, only attacking at night, and when killed they will drop nothing but they will leave smaller weaker versions of themselves, as if leaving babies. Because of this, they're a tough enemy.
- Plains should have horses. You can use the same type of saddle used for pigs to ride a horse, and you can tame horses with apples (look at my More foods and ways to balance them topic to see how you'll get apples.) When killed, they sometimes drop leather, but killing them isn't a great idea because they're so useful. Plains should have yellow grass.
- Oceans will have sharks. These sharks are tough, but they can usually be avoided when you use a boat. They will drop teeth, as well as some scales -- and sometimes they will drop a random item that you would find in a dungeon, because sharks eat random items left in the ocean. :tongue.gif: Sharks will also spawn near beaches. Rather than being a horrible danger that makes water movement miserable, sharks will be something that you may want to hunt after. They have 20 hearts and will do 5 hearts of damage to you, plus they move fast in water if you walk near them. If you use a bow or a sword, you can easily dispatch them from a beach.
- Tundras will have penguins. :biggrin.gif: Penguins are totally peaceful, and they drop raw fish, ice blocks, and Penguin eggs when they die, so they can be a source of ice blocks that you can actually use and build with and place. Penguin eggs work the same as chicken eggs, but they produce penguins.
- Mushroom biomes already have their own MOB, so there is no need for another, but I suggest mushroom people who are like NPCs. Usually just 1 or 2 of these mushroom people and their huts are on a mushroom biome. They look like humanoid mushrooms, but without faces, (their head is the top of the mushroom) and they are peaceful but if you hurt them at all, they explode. :ohmy.gif:
NEW BIOME SUGGESTIONS:
- Underwater. Why is there barely anything in the water, Notch? There's so much more you could add. To make exploration in this area easier, a new item will be craftable: The diving helmet, out of 4 gold ingots in a cross shape with a glass pane in the middle. When wearing the diving helmet, you do not have to worry about oxygen at all when underwater, but it does not provide defense.
Anyway, in the underwater biome there should be the following:
- Crabs should be on sand in and near water, they will be 1 block big and will drop crab meat which is the same as raw fish
- Shellfish that give pearls should be present, these pearls can be turned into ender pearls by right clicking endermen while holding them
- Brain coral blocks should be on the bottoms of oceans, in 3 varieties: blue, yellow, and pink
- Seaweed should grow underwater, and it should go up to a 3 block height. It can be eaten but it will cause food poisoning and weakness for a short time. It can be used in potions
Here is another biome suggestion:
- Volcano. It should be a large mountain made of stone only with no ores visible on the surface, filled almost to the top with lava. It will never erupt, and on the lava protected inside of these volcanos, there should be ores such as gold, redstone, diamonds, and iron, worth removing tons and tons of lava for
I want that! its so epic if you could have diving helmets and make your own atlantis, or even find one! mooPC's`?
It's epic! touch one and all explode! I love it!
Some guy should add it
Thanks, and I agree, little underwater villages made out of gold in glass domes with fish people would be WIN And minecraft needs a craftable diving helmet, forcing us to enchant helmets to aqua affinity is stupid especially because the enchantment system is random >.<
Search, it's essential in the suggestion forum.

No, I'm not posting in another person's topic, because everyone will read his suggestion and not mine. Mine are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM HIS! Why should I post in another topic when my idea will just hit the bottom and never be seen by ANYONE?
